I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] is lying! It is true that he came a couple of times when he did not charge me, but during those visits he generally suggested more fixes The valves work fine and I know perfectly well how to run them The new guy showed me things that [redacted] didn't bother to mention, mainly how to use the pressure gauge to tell exactly where to place the handle when running the pump [redacted] frequently stood there and outright ignored me when I asked questions aloud, and I figure it's probably because he wanted it to be messed up, as he tried to sell me new equipment.I imagine it's probably true that there were some misunderstanding Maybe he doesn't understand when I was asking a question, as I do have a soft voice I am unsure how much of the problem (easily and speedily fixed by the next person I hired) was lack of competence or intentional on [redacted] 's part to try to sell me stuff. What did NOT happen is that he categorically did NOT tell me that the hundred dollars would be used to cover prior costs If there were prior costs, he could have charged me for them at the time Rather I emailed him three times and got NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER HE IS BEING OUTRIGHT DISHONEST And even if he DID say that, it still would have been dishonest Whatever happened prior to my closing the account he should have charged me for as it happened Instead, he outright STOLE the money for me that I should never have prepaid.I know that he's never going to be honest or give me the hundred dollars, but I want to make this clear He's not being honest

I did a repair per the request of Mr [redacted] [redacted] never understood what valves did whatI was constantly showing up and the valves had been turned and the was no longer filtering because of thisWhich in turn caused the pool to turn greenishI fixed the green problem times and tried to show [redacted] how the valves worked every timeI even suggested going automated so all he had to do was push a button to get the spa to turn on or just make the cleaner clean the bottom of the poolBut it's a little pricey to change a poll to automated which it was for [redacted] I understand moving into a new house you're already spending money here and thereSo [redacted] decided to quite service I told him that the last months payment will cover the extra visits and chemicals when the pool would turn green which I had to do times do to his actionsI hope him the best with his new pool companyThank You,

*** Stated : " I came out the his house more than my contracted once a week to fix the valvesI continued to show him how to do it, but he never got itI had to come out like or times for free and as a courtesy to fix the valves after he kept messing it up! I am contracted to come out once every week and I bill a month in advance, so October 15th, he received a bill for SeptemberI did service on the first week of September, then he told me that I wasn't working out, I agreed and said he was rightThen he was like oh, I pre-paid you I want a refundI told him lets just call it even because of the excess in times I came out (without charging him) and had to correct his issues and the extra money I had to spend in time and chemicals because he kept messing up the valves trying to turn on the heat in the spa and shutting off the filter and causing it to go greenI wish him the best with his new company."

I did a repair per the request of Mr. [redacted] never understood what valves did what. I was constantly showing up and the valves had been turned and the was no longer filtering because of this. Which in turn caused the pool to turn greenish. I fixed the green problem 3 times and tried to show...

[redacted] how the valves worked every time. I even suggested going automated so all he had to do was push a button to get the spa to turn on or just make the cleaner clean the bottom of the pool. But it's a little pricey to change a poll to automated which it was for [redacted]. I understand moving into a new house you're already spending money here and there. So [redacted] decided to quite service I told him that the last months payment will cover the extra visits and chemicals when the pool would turn green which I had to do 3 times do to his actions. I hope him the best with his new pool company. Thank You,

Review: [redacted] of Paradise Pools charged me money for several repairs that did not fix the problem with my pool. I'm unsure if he was stringing me along on purpose since he was trying to sell me new equipment, or if he just wasn't able to fix my problem. I over-paid him at 100.00 dollars for one month of service when I was not serviced, because I cancelled my agreement with him. Although I wasted money on repairs, I don't feel I can prove any ill intention there. But he definitely owes me back for the 100 dollars I paid for service I did not get. I have made several requests which he has ignored. His service is very poor and he it will sometimes take 5 or more appointments for him to finish one job, after he's been paid ahead of time for it. He ignores emails and texts communications most of the time, but now that I'm not his customer he is ignoring me completely.Bottom line is he stole money for me. I'm not asking for money back for repairs that didn't work, because I'm unsure of what he actually replaced and did. But I want my 100 dollars back for the month that he did not service my pool. This is the least he could do.Desired Settlement: 100 dollars paid for pool service for the month of September that was not provided, as the service was cancelled and he was paid ahead of time.
