I have addressed the drainpipe damage in previous responses. Ben being argumentative does not change my response

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Mr [redacted], please endeavor to be a man of integrity and pay for the damages to my downspout.

I received a letter from the Revdex.com about a complaint filed by Ben [redacted].Ben asked me to begin work on his lawn starting in 2016. In our initial discussions Ben asked me to mow the lawn as well as clean up the leaves in the spring and fall.I sent Ben an estimate, was given the OK to begin, and...

I began work for him on his lawn. There was no contract for any of my work, nor the understanding that a contract was needed for work. We mutually understood that I was to mow the lawn and cleanup the leaves. Ben paid for these services and again there was no contract. At the beginning of 2017 I sent Ben an estimate for lawn care services as well as mowing. I also sent a contract for the mowing only. (Not any of the other services)Included in the estimate for mowing was the statement that any mowing before or after the contract dates would be at the discounted rate.I offer a 10% discount on mowing to my customers through a contract which also helps to keep my customer base stable.   I only offer a contract on mowing and it has nothing to do with other services or the dates of my service. It is specific only to a mowing season for the purpose of a discount and keeping my customer base stable. This is very clear by the context of the estimate and conversations I have had with Ben.Although Ben is claiming to have emailed me to have canceled services after September, I never received such an email. In fact Ben had called me and told me that the sent an email to cancel and not remembering ever having received such an email, I did a thorough search of my email box. There was no email to be found. I emailed Ben back and told him as much. It was then he sent me an email telling me how I damage his drainpipes and wanted me to replace them. I told him that being responsible is very important to me and I would be happy to help with that however the drainpipes were flattened when I started working there. This is simply a man that is failing to pay the Bill after he and his wife separated. I just happen to be lucky enough to be in the path of his vengeance today. Nathan
