The State of New York, Weights & Measures weight dumpster when they arrive to the weight scaleThis cusomter's dumpster weighted tons, which is tons over the allotted, agreed-upon amount of weight. Therefore, the landfill's fee, for the overtonnage, was $204.03, and we passed
that cost along to the customer, which they agreed to on the contract the signed with our company. However, since this customer ignored our request for payment, an additinal $in late fees and collections have been levied on this customer. Therefore, this customer owes us $to close this outstanding balanced us. IF the customer would like to make a payment of $300.00, we're will to waive $in collections and late fees. This money must be received to our office, via card card, ***, or checkCall 800-347-to details

We recognize there was a billing error on our part and issued a refund, check number 3012, on 9/28/for $1,055.40 (the amount the customer actually overpaid)

The customer filled the dumpster with over tons of heavy debris, resulting in an overtonnage fee of $460.00. The customer’s dumpster was weighed and certified by the City of New York. The customer’s assertion that we “pressured her” into signing a contract is unfounded.
Legally, we can’t rent dumpsters without an approved agreement from the customer. We emailed the customer the DocuSign for her approval

We have no record or knowledge of this customer’s dispute

As the contract the customer executed with our company, Certified Weight Tickets are governed by New Jersey Weights & Measures and are 98.3% accurate. Our company does not weigh the dumpsters (nor are we allowed to). The customer is responsible for the contents in the dumpster and
access to the roads/dumpster for pickup, including snow, moisture and/or blocked roads. We, obviously, would never expect the customer to "clean up all the roads in NJ" as the customer asserted

the weighing statement does not have a signature on ithow do I know this is weighed properly?? Since the business agrees that I am not expected to clean NJ roads, how come the business charged me because the NJ government does not clean the roads? We have already cleaned our driveway, and we can't control the government to clean the road to our houseThis is clearly a business risk, and should not be imposed onto customersWe have already done the work for cleaning our own driveway and we did our due diligence by calling the company the day of the snow to inform them that the road may not be well cleaned by the government and we asked whether we need to re-schedule the deliveryHowever, the company's representative said it was OK and that we did not need to re-schedule.? For the first request, we want additional proof for the accuracy of the weighingfor second request, we ask for full refund for the failed delivery.?

We have made several good faith attempts to resolve this complaint amicably, but the customer is unwilling to accept our response.  There is no further action our company can take at this time.

There was no corruption, manipulation, trickery, or harassment involved.  Furthermore, there is no “industry standard weight limit” for a 10-yard dumpster.  The customer agreed to a limited weight dumpster of 1000lbs and to pay $135.00/ton for over tonnage.  In addition, the customer...

was informed, in the Service Agreement that he approved, when placing the order.

The threshold for overages on the weight for the dumpster is not typical. This company is advertising competitive pricing on the front end, but then hitting customers with hundreds of dollars in charges they didn't expect on the back end.  It is a total scam. This is not even a dumpster company. They act as a middle man (broker) advertising online and in NY (I am not sure where else.) There are so many other complaints out there with the exact situation happening to me. At the end, if you don't pay what they demand, they immediately threaten to put a mechanics lien on your property.  Please fully look into this. It is also worth noting that the company did not tell me the dumpsters were over their weight limit and that I would be charged additional fees until after the 6th dumpster I had ordered from them was full. I had no idea that my 1st dumpster was being assessed with hundreds of dollars in overage fees until weeks later. They then automatically charged my credit card without my consent. When they could no longer get money from my credit card, they began calling me and threatening me with a lien if I did't pay immediately. Please let me know if you need any additional information. Thanks for your assistance.

Here is what the customer agreed to, in writing (see attachment): 1) "Weight includes 6000 pounds", and 2) "An over-tonnage fee of $135.00 for weight exceeding the included weight".  In addition, this customer failed to pay and STILL has an outstanding balance due of $1,893.00.

The agreement the customer executed with our company states, "5) An over-tonnage fee of $135.00 per ton (prorated to 1/100 of a ton) applies for debris weight exceeding the included weight on this invoice."  Therefore, the customer's assertion that our company "failed to tell him there would be...

overage charges if the weight was over a certain limit" is false.

First, our sincere apologies for what, no doubt, was a grave inconvenience.  Our business hours are 8am-4pm, M-F, (EST) and we have a 93.3% call answer rate during those hours.  So, it's very uncommon a) not to get answered, and b) for calls to be forwarded to voice mail.  Regardless,...

please call our Premium Number, 800-347-8340, if you have any additional issues and we'll do our best to handle your order needs.
