Perry Wellington painted the interior walls and ceilings of our 20 year old house. We wanted to hire a professional (but reasonably priced) team because of our vaulted ceilings and cracks. Most of the cracks that concerned us were in the ceilings or walls near ceiling level.

We were incredibly happy with the quality of the work and the friendliness, professionalism and speed of the painters. They took pains to patch each and every imperfection, many of which we hadn't even noticed ourselves, and cleaned up every day. Lloyd, the co-owner/operations manager was intimately familiar with what we wanted and checked in a few times to make sure that we were happy with the process and results.

Six months later we experienced some foundation shifting that caused many of the ceiling cracks to reopen. Lloyd brought in a taper and painter to fix and repaint all of the affected areas at no cost to us. He also offered to repaint the entire ceiling area if we felt that the touch-up paint didn't blend perfectly. We declined that offer since everything looked great, but he said that we could still have that done at no cost later if we changed our minds.

The initial job and then the extra work later really was above and beyond anything that we could have hoped for. They do a great job and definitely stand by their work!

Perry Wellington painted our home in August 2019. Beautiful job! Courteous, respectful workers. Job was done incredibly well in a timely manner, with very little leftover mess. The few small issues I had were met with an immediate response to correct the situation. Price was very competitive. I would highly recommend them to take care of your home. We had referrals for them prior to selecting and I will use them again in the future!

There was a big reason we chose Tom, the owner of Perry Wellington to get our home painted.

We met Tom at the Home Show. He came out and gave us a quote. He was genuine. Not pushy. Thorough. Honest.

He suggested we get quotes from competitors to compare prices, service, quality. We did. We took time, months actually. We were cautious, careful and curious.

The first we chose had a hyper salesperson. He boasted of satisfied customers, bragged they were the best ... showed photos of transformed houses, named a price - then told us their price was valid for a limited time only. Act now!

We didn't.

More months went by.

Tom would check in to see if we made any progress, had questions or needed more information.

Our next competitor was more professional. Laid back. Very meticulous. Confident. And thousands of dollars higher.

When Tom emailed again we told him we were considering Perry Wellington ... but had some thoughts and things we wanted to check.
Tom met us again, covered our questions, listened to our thoughts, made suggestions, plus, reassured us our price still stood.

We knew then - we had the right company.

We actually upgraded our paint finish.

Their job was great. The painters were personable. Quality was wonderful. They corrected problem areas caused by other services.
We are very happy with our new painted, improved home.

We are writing this review to commend Perry Wellington Professional Painting on their professionalism and attitude.
The job of painting the exterior of our home was contracted to begin on September 17, 2018. We had a conversation for a few minutes and discussed the job to be done. Then the painter walked around to determine the requirements, making a few suggestions along the way. We selected the paint colour and he said he would be back the next morning, weather permitting, to start the work.
We found that while he was doing his job he was very courteous and professional. He was also very neat. The paint job (2 coats) was completed by end of day. He cleaned up the area and was on his way.
We feel, by the job that was done and in the time it took to complete, that this company and staff is very professional and would recommend them to do residential painting.

Terrific work. Hired tom and his team to repaint the entire interior of my house and they did a wonderful job. The previous owners really left it in bad shape and it needed a ton of patch work too... after they were done you couldn't even tell where all the holes used to be. Fair price compared to the other quotes we received (they weren't the cheapest or the highest) and a very high quality of work. Great communication from Tom the entire time and they finished a day earlier than expected. Finishing my basement in the near future and will be calling tom again to take care of the painting downstairs!

September 2018 we had our entire condo painted. The estimate process was really helpful in understanding what we needed. The crew was on-time, really nice people, and easy to work with. Small problems were dealt with quickly and with no budget changes. On-site supervision was efficient, every day, and again just great folks to deal with. The final bill was as expected, and the quality of clean-up and touch up was super. I would happily recommend Perry W to anyone.

Perry Wellington painted my house summer 2018 and I am extremely pleased with the work that was done. The crew who worked on the house were very friendly, meticulous and cleaned up every night before leaving. I chose a different colour scheme and the transformation is amazing! Strangers walking by last summer would stop and tell me how gorgeous it looked. The owners Tom & Lloyd are true professionals. We had Perry Wellington paint the outside of our house last summer and from the moment I received my quote from Tom I knew this was the company I wanted to deal with. He was professional , friendly and answered all my questions. After all the work was done he made sure to ask if we were satisfied and if there was anything that needed to fixed or if there was something we were not happy with. We were always skeptical about hiring contractors to work on our home, we have had some bad experiences so when it came time to get quotes on painting our homes exterior we were wary.
We had met Tom at the Winnipeg home show. I had setup an appointment and Tom showed up promptly as scheduled we were impressed by his attentiveness and knowledge. he explained our options clearly and made made suggestions. The contract was written out clearly and everything was taken care of as promised. Pricing was not the lowest of the 3 quotes but we felt for the work promised it was more than fair. We had not met Toms crew as they painted during the day when we were at work. You would never know they were there. Site was always clean day to day and there was never any paint splatters on our walkways or shrubs. We are glad we went with the elastomeric paint on our stucco as Tom had suggested because today four years later the house looks as good as the day it was painted. I have not used Perry Wellington for interior painting but based on our exterior painting experience we would not hesitate to use there services. We highly recommend Perry Wellington painting.

Perry Wellington painted several areas in our house. The walls had been textured and were out of style. This required the texturing to be scraped down and refloated to smooth the gyp roc. This require extensive work and complete sanding before refinishing. I am amazed at the job they did and how well it turned out, all at a reasonable cost. Other companies I got estimates from would either not even consider the job or would have charged a lot more. Thank you so much for your work guys. Excellent job.

We contracted Perry Wellington in June of 2017 to paint the exterior of our home. The professionalism from the time of the quote, follow up and execution of the exterior painting went flawless. I dealt with Tom and Lloyd and would highly recommend them to family and friends. A great experience and a very happy customer.

Wonderful to work with. The painting was completed within the time frame provided and the job itself looked great! The clean-up was also fantastic. This is our second time hiring them. They're in and out and you would barely even notice they were there.

I contacted Perry Wellington for an estimate for priming and painting my basement walls and ceiling in April. Within days, Tom was over to review the area, after which I promptly received a formal quote. I was impressed with the initial discussions and the price, so they were hired. There were some delays with mud and tape, so I had to push back the start date. This wasn't an issue, and the painters were in as soon as I was ready. The crew worked very quickly, and the job was completed in a couple days. I was very happy with the finished product (they had even touched up blemishes in the drywall that had become apparent once the first coat of paint was on). Fast forward a few months - I had some paint lift when the casings were installed and painted. I contacted Tom and he immediately arranged for a painter to come by and touch up the areas. This painter also went out of his way to touch up other areas that were unrelated to the workscope (dings from moving furniture, toolmarks, etc.). Once again, I was extremely happy with the end result. I will absolutely recommend Perry Wellington to friends and family based on price and quality, as well as initial and follow-on customer service.
