I couldn't be happier and highly recommend Dean & his crews to anyone in the Greeley Hill area for tree or landscaping work First, Dean, an arborist - not just a tree trimmer - came and gave me a free consult & no charge for driving the hour here He showed me how to check for pine beetles and evaluated each and every tree (about pine, cedars and oak), answered all my questions about options for treatment, watering, & which trees needed to be cut down and others trimmed I wanted healthy trees and fire safe property Dean provided all that and more - professionalism, right equipment, experienced/well-trained crew and a reasonable price He did everything he said he was going to do It was an easy choice to pick Dean over two other consults from other companies I researched the information I received from all the consults and Dean's recommendations definitely matched all the information I found in my research He has been prompt, knowledgeable, experienced, personable and professional
I have two special trees - a black oak and cedar each about 6-8' in diameter and over 100' tall that I was most concerned about and wanted an arborist, not just a tree cutter - I wanted them to be healthier and not butchered The oak had lots of mistle toe and dead limbs; the cedar lots of dead limbs Two other large pines were leaning badly and crowding out two other trees A small forested area needed to be thinned out and lower branches cut off to make it more fire safe He only found pine with the pine beetle He recommended treating most the pines with a chemical to prevent the pine beetle - he's used it successfully on over trees and gave me the actual research using it vsother chemicals He also recommended treating the oak with phosphorous to help it
Two crews (men) worked diligently on all the trees, leaving the black oak and cedar looking beautiful! Neighbors have called to say how great they look now and were so happy that I had the work done! The forested area is safer and will give the trees there a better chance to be stress free and beetle freeThe pines were felled, cut into logs and placed on my next door neighbors property for them to use as fire wood They took great care to only cut out what was necessary every place they worked The pines were treated with the chemical
They worked fast, carefully, safely and every crew member was personable and professional They had all the equipment necessary to do the job promptly (days) and cleaned the property so that you didn't even know they had been here They left me the chipped wood that I wanted right where I asked
I was so pleased I had Dean gravel and roll my 150' driveway/parking area - again a beautiful job completed in about 1/day It should last for years! I'm so happy with this work, that Dean will be doing my landscaping for me, too
