[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response If you wish, you may update it before sending it.] I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to meI disagree with a lot of what Paramount has to say on this matterWe are required to sign off on the work when the contractor leavesThere is no way at that time we will know how the drywall will turn out till it dries completelySame thing with the paint. They had refused to do anything on this matter until I told them I was contacting the Revdex.com so I thank the Revdex.com for that! The contractors have been very accommodating and professionalThey agreed with the issues I was addressing. As far as the backyard is concerned I was told repeatedly that it was going to be taken care of for monthsThen after waiting months they came back saying they were not going to address itI strongly believe this is something that they should have resolved but after waiting a year for a resolution we have decided to handle the matter ourselves

Paramount Homes provides two post-closing
walkthroughs to our homeowners, a 30-day and an
11-month, during the first year after closing. These walkthroughs give the homeowners an opportunity to present any issues or concerns they may have with their home to a Paramount Homes representative.
In March 2015, an 11-month walkthrough was conducted at the home. Repairs including sheetrock were scheduled soon thereafter. Upon completion of the repair, the homeowner is presented with a service request from each technician to sign that the work has been completed to their satisfaction. The signed document was received upon completion of the repairs. After the expiration of the one year warranty, the homeowner contacted Paramount Homes to request an additional return visit for nail pops that reoccurred on the second floor of her home. Per the guidelines of the warranty, sheetrock repairs are warrantable during the first year after closing, one time only. Therefore we denied her request to return. After receiving numerous calls and emails, the Paramount Homes Warranty Department contacted Mrs* *** on June 16, to schedule an appointment to visit her home to review the repairs requestedMrs* *** was not available on that day but an appointment was scheduled for Tuesday, June 23, at which time Paramount Homes scheduled a return visit with our sheetrock contractor as a courtesy to resolve this matter. The sheetrock contractor has completed these repairs and the homeowner has scheduled paint touch-ups
With regard to the grading issues raised by the homeowner, the claim was submitted during the winter with regard to ponding water on her property. As per the warranty agreement, ponding water is warrantable when visible hours after rain. Unfortunately, grading and drainage issues cannot be assessed during the winter months as frozen grounds impede drainage. After the ground thawed, Paramount conducted an assessment at the home less than hours after a substantial rainfall and there was no ponding water. Photos were taken of the property and provided to the homeowner. No further action was taken with regard to this matter as a warrantable problem was not evidentIf you have any questions or require any additional information, please do not hesitate to ask

Paramount Builders based in Jackson, N.Jfails to deliver on their warranties based on my personal experience They make promises to fix items and string you along, not fixing, until your warranty is set to expire Beware of this For a year, they promised me they would resolve an issue where the sod kept burning up Their solution: You pay to landscape this burning sod In other words, use my monies to do what they should have done a year ago Stay away from Paramount Homes Buyer Beware!!!

Paramount Builders based in Jackson, N.J. fails to deliver on their warranties based on my personal experience. They make false promises to fix items and string you along, not fixing, until your warranty is set to expire. Beware of this. For a year, they promised me they would resolve an issue where the sod kept burning up. Their solution: You pay to landscape this burning sod. In other words, use my monies to do what they should have done a year ago. Stay away from Paramount Homes. Buyer Beware!!!

Review: I have had many issues with the warranty department. They will not fix things that are supposed to be covered by the builder's warranty. They don't return phone calls. Any repairs they have done have been at bare minimum. They will tell you that they will repair something and make you wait WEEKS then come back and tell you the repair is not covered.

We have had issues with the grading of our backyard as well as repairs needed inside of the home. We were supposed to have nail pops fixed however they have not been repaired properly and keep coming back in the same exact locations. They are telling us it's a one time repair but the repair was never made if they just come back the minute the contractor leaves. They also were responsible for painting these repairs and did so with a completely different color white and nothing matches and we have patches all over the place. We purchased a new home and shouldn't have to deal with this stuff. PLEASE HELP!!!!Desired Settlement: I would like all the repairs to be made correctly and to our satisfaction.
