Dear ***,
After reviewing your letter that was mailed to us regarding to a complaint that has been submitted to your organization I would like to respond and correct this issue immediatelyThe item purchased by the customer's husband is a product that is widely favored by our ethnic customersThe reason that our sales associate did not refund this item is because there was absolutely nothing wrong with this product other than the fact that the customer's wife did not like the taste of itThis product was not "rancid" like described by the customer's wife in the complaint
Since we are a small family run business we do not offer a "no questions asked return policy" like most other larger businessWe simply would not be able to to stay in business if we returned every item that did not satisfy a particular customer's taste requirementThis was simply a misunderstanding with the product that the customer purchasedWe have never had a issue with this product in the past since this is a dry-cured and smoked "ready to eat" baconSince this is not a raw meat product it is nearly impossible for this product to become "rancid" even if it is left unrefrigerated for a long period of time
Without going into further detail we would like to offer the customer a full refund and we apologize for any dissatisfaction that the customer has experience with our company or our products. In order to resolve this issue we would like to mail the customer a check for a full refund in the amount of $
