PIP received this customer's claim on 4/6/and contacted the insured to request the missing required documentation - the original purchase receipt and a statement from the recipient confirming non-receipt The insured contacted us on 5/6/and stated that he is having problems communicating with the recipient and will attempt to forward the original correspondence about the loss/damage to us We are still working with this customer to assist him in providing sufficient documentation for this claim Today was our first notice of this Revdex.com complaint Thank you!

This customer's claim is not denied It is still being processed The documentation provided with the claim was not clear, therefore we have been working with this shipper via email and phone to assist him in providing appropriate documentation in order to finish processing the claim

Thank you for the feedback and allowing us to respond to your complaint Parcel Insurance Plan is wholly owned subsidiary of Brown & Brown Insurance headquartered in Daytona Beach FL PIP is not affiliated with StLouis law firm Brown & Brown.All insurance policies have policy terms and conditions Proof of value of the items shipped is required for all claims Coverage terms state that PIP will not be liable for more than the declared value, actual cash value, cost to repair or replace, or Liability Limit, whichever is less Additionally, all claims require verification from the consignee that they either did not receive the item or received it in damaged condition USPS does not provide electronic delivery confirmation for China, therefore a lack of a delivery scan is not sufficient to verify the package was lost.This customer has now provided the proof of value and a statement from the consignee for one of the two packages, therefore that claim is now being processed according to standard procedures

The shipper has submitted proof that he emailed the claim to us on 8/24/16, however we do not have a record of that email or claim. It may have been flagged as spam or inadvertently deleted. The shipper resent the claim to us on Friday 9/9/16. We confirmed receipt for him on 9/9/
and apologized for the inconvenience. The claim will be processed by 9/16/

loss, DAMAGE or non-arrival of any Package which is addressed, wrapped or packed insufficiently, incorrectly or contrary to Carrier's packaging requirements." USPS states the package was undeliverable as addressed, therefore ShipCover has no liability in this claim.

Thank you for alerting us to this complaint.  This customer shipped and insured his package on 6/27/16 through our partnership with [redacted].  The item arrived damaged on 6/29/16.  The customer submitted his claim to PIP on 6/30/16.  There is a delay of up to 10 days business...

days before [redacted] sends the shipping label transaction data to PIP to allow a window for voided labels.  We received this label transaction from [redacted] on 7/11/16 and the associated payment from [redacted] on 7/18/16.  This claim was paid on the next available check run.  Claim check #[redacted] was issued and mailed on 7/22/16.  We cannot pay claims prior to receiving the label transaction data and the associated premium payment.
