Review: I am a hurricane Sandy survivor in need of HELP. I hired Parco Home Improvement Corp. in April of 2012 to install 7 basement windows. 2 windows on the first floor and 2 steel entry doors to replace the destruction that Hurricane Sandy caused on October **, 2012. In June 0f 2012 the new windows & doors were installed. On the installation of the interior steel door (it leads from the kitchen to an entry hall which leads outside) the newly installed drywall around the door was removed by the Parco employee who was putting in the door. We had over 6 feet of water in this location and the drywall was just put up. We were hit very hard by Hurricane Sandy and between FEMA and insurance we did not receive enough money to make all the repairs necessary to bring us back pre-Sandy. It has been over one year and after speaking with [redacted] ###-###-#### at least once a week since the installation was completed he keeps telling me that his construction person will be here to re-install the sheet rock he took down. The last straw was this past weekend, 6/**/2014 when after speaking to [redacted] on 6/**/14 when he told me his construction person would be here on 6/**/14-which he never showed up. [redacted] is did not return my phone call on that day, I will try calling again, but it is my experience with him that since he can see my number he does not take the call, only when I use different telephone numbers does he pick up. Also, I was not told the product (windows) had full screens that you can not open, which [redacted] began to make good on replacing with the regular half screens, however, he only delivered 3 screens for the basement windows, he still has to deliver the other 3 screens. Hurricane Sandy hit us very hard and we are still trying to do repairs, I can not afford to pay someone again to complete the installation of drywall around the door.Desired Settlement: Finish the job and give me the 3 window screens he owes us, or just give us the 3 screens and reimburse us for the drywall and installation so I can have someone do the work. I have so many other repairs I am still making and after a year of chasing [redacted] it is mentally draining. I would really appreciate any aid you can give me, this is quite aggravating and I really need to move on, as it is, it will take me between 3 and 5 years by my estimate to get financially where I was pre-Sandy. I installed the basement windows they tradionally come with full screens I supplied additional screens at no charge .I installed doors for them they had someone else do the rest of the basement .I will send my man over next 10 days and make them happy

Just to let you know [redacted] of Parco did send his carpenter over to fix the door frame, HOWEVER, it is now 4 weeks since [redacted] told us that he re-ordered the window screens. We called on Wednesday 8/**/14 to ask when we would be getting them and [redacted] told us they were lost in the warehouse. This is the SECOND since last year that they were lost in the warehouse. Can you please step in and find out when we will be receiving the screens? I do not believe him.

AT this time, I have been contacted directly by Parco Home Improvement Corp. regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The last correspondence was from your office, that [redacted] would be coming to my home to speak with me. I responded to your office that unless he had the screens that he owed me there was no reason for him to come. I have not received the screens and I do not expect to.

This has gone on way too long and I am not making myself sick over this anymore. I refuse to waste any more time on this matter and I am done with Parco and [redacted].

Thank you for your assistance, at least you got [redacted] to send his carpenter over to install the drywall that his contractors did not replace when installing the steel entry door.

I do not recommend Parco for the simply reason that it was not explained to us that we would be receiving "full" window screens (again, if you need to hang laundry on a clothes line it s makes a difference if you can not open the screen and the contractors installing the product are careless in regards to the home owners property, i.e., after installing the steel entry door, they did not replace the drywall around it, it shows poor workmanship. I have spent almost a year on this matter and it is not worth the time and aggravation any more.

Review: I CONTRACTED WITH PARCO TO DO MY ROOF. THEY SUBLET TED THE JOB TO [redacted] AND DID NOT DELIVER ON THE SKYLIGHT WE AGREED ON INSTEAD PROVIDED A PART OF A SKYLIGHT AND DID NOT COME TO INSTALL IT. CONTRACTOR HAS SINCE REFUSED TO GET THE CORRECT PART AND IS ASKING ME TO TAKE HIM TO COURT.Desired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE TO BE REFUNDED OR HAVE THE CORRECT JOB DONE AS WE AGREED ON AND THAT WAS PAID FOR. I DO HAVE TEXT MESSAGES ALONG WITH A SIGNED ESTIMATE OF WHAT WAS EXPECTED ALONG WITH PICTURES OF WHAT WAS EXPECTED IN RELATION TO WHAT WAS RECEIVED

I have read customer complaint. I delivered what the customer order according to contract I installed a skylite and a hatch the part in dispute is the hatch we installed the skylitethe amount he mentioned was the wholesale cost of skylite and hatch .as I mentioned this was a custom hatch they would not take it back . I would be glad to install the hatch we provided by the way I never mentioned court I also have seen and spoken to this customer several times my agreement mentions skylite and hatch sincerely [redacted] the cost of skylite was 400 dollars he has the hatch cover in his possession I will do whatever I can to resolve situation
