I was able to finally contact Paratologic who responded with attentive attitudes and over a process of a few hours, responded very well and congenially by completely correcting the problems I related in my complaint

We would like to first clarify, the reason the program continues to request payment is due to the fact you have not yet
activated the license keyOnce this step is complete, the program becomes fully functionalIt does appear we have corresponded with you through our support center, offering you those steps
Also, the option to have Advanced Tech Support set the software up on your behalf is completely voluntaryOn your receipt, you are provided two ways to activate your purchase, one being with Advanced Tech Support, the other, manual steps for you to complete yourself
Your request for a refund of order *** has been submitted to our credit processorsYour refund will come from *** and will be credited to the source from which you were initially charged
You can uninstall the program using the instructions belowBefore uninstalling you must fully shut down the program you are removingIf the program is running in the background, right-click the system tray icon in the lower right corner and select Exit
To uninstall a program:
Go to your Desktop and press the Windows Start key on your keyboard
Choose Control Panel,or type Control Panel and select it from the list
Under the Programs section, choose Uninstall a Program (If using Windows XP: Add/Remove Programs)
Select the program to be removed
Click the Uninstall button (If using Windows XP: Remove)

I had a computer error and the software was advertised as a free trial, if it can fix the errors I'll gladly pay since it could always reoccur or I might have a different problem after wasting my time,,...there never was a free trial...what I got was a scan that told me I had X problems and I would have to pay to fix them

The offer was for a free scanI tried that and knew that at the end there would be an offer for software to fix itNothing is free It was easy to see from what they were advertising that there would be a cost

You get nothing free here other than a canned responseI wasted minutes looking for information on how this worksThis is the canned response "Our software can be downloaded for free as a trial version which allows you to see how our detection system works and whether the program is right for youThe trial version will allow you to scan for issues on your computerTo clear any issues that are detected, you will need to register the full version of the program." You have to put your credit card info in before learning anything about your pcSure the scan is free but what good is a scan if you cannot see the results? Hopefully this business will reveal their prices on the home page

We ask that you please keep in mind, we do not have access to your system, therefore, we cannot see what you are seeing, nor can we resolve
the issue for youWhen a client contacts support stating they are receiving notifications to renew the software, this generally means the program is still installed on the computerAlso, renewal notifications are automated, and once the program is properly removed, they will no longer appear
You state here that you have already removed the program, however, if this was done correctly, you would not be receiving any further renewal notifications
What I would ask of you is to submit a screen capture to our support department with an image of what you are seeing so we might properly support you
I will email you from support with steps on how to submit this information to usOnce we receive the image of what you are seeing, along with confirmation of how you did remove the program, we will then be able to provide further support

sales tactics using fear to sell their product after giving up an hour of my time to allow for their software to fully imbed itself into my computer.

I wouldn't refer to this company as ethical, or for that matter,integrity.
I sat and wasted 32 minutes while this free program, who by the way is a approved and endorsed site, only to end up with the results directing me to register the software before proceeding.Sure. Proceed to THEIR EXTORTION PAYMENT SO IT MAY BE FIXED!
I just wanted to inform those that do not know that and COMPLETELY RELY ON YOUR STATEMENTS, ADVICE, AND ENDORSEMENTS.

I AGREE WITH PREVIOUS NEGATIVE REVIEW. TELL BEFORE WASTING OUR TIME HOW MUCH THIS IS GOING TO COST.

I was not fully aware that there would be a charge for you software scan to continue it. I think that you should make your information more clear other than by saying FREE in bold large letters; it would be nicer to say that you will provide a preview of how your system works and can help the consumer with a subscription attached.

You say... Free trial ...well I didnt get to try your ability to do what you say you can do ...scanning is not fixing anything?

how frustrating and disappointing... this business advertising to download a free cleaner and computer enhancer... only to go through all the steps, download and wait with anticipation while your computers "errors" are listed... then when you hit the button which is supposed to "FIX" all the errors... you're led to a different screen where you are FINALLY TOLD YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS!

add said completely free fix for [redacted] failures. wasted 30 minutes and space on my computer.
