Review: on february 17 2015 my car overheated,I took it to paris auto repair. the owner [redacted] informed me that I had a cracked engine block. after looking at the engine myself I agreed.he told me that the best thing to do would be to replace the engine.I asked him how long it would take and he said 2 weeks but he said he would not be able to get to it until march 3 2015.I asked him to give me an estimate and I would make a decision.after repeated attemts to contact him as well as walking down there I heard nothing from him until march 24 2015.he quoted me a price of $1,732.24 and asked for a down payment of $900.00 wich I gave him on march 25 2015. I have documentation. he has lied to me and my wife on several occasions about when the car will be done.I cannot afford to have the car towed to another business and pay them to finish the job.I have the $832.24 to settle the deal but he keeps saying it will be done tomorrow. it is now may the 18th 2015, and I still do not have my car back. I have [redacted] and a [redacted], taking the buss to the cancer center and to get groceries is not fun at all.please help.this is my only form of transportation.Desired Settlement: I need to know what form of legal action I can take to get my car back.

Review: The Owner and Mechanic held my vehicle for 7 weeks for a 4hour repair. He promised over and over my vehicle would be done and it never happened. I first left my vehicle on 7/16/2015, it is now 9/1/2015 and he has not completed anything. I have been forced had to make arragements to get to work based on his assuarance my car would be repaired. These arrangements have cost me $50/week (350 to date)every week he delays. The most frustrating part is he shows no concern and no explaination for the delay.Desired Settlement: Public Exposure of Bad Business practices
