customers credit card until the products are in our shipping department and ready to be sent out.  Our customers love this policy because if an item is discontinued or not available their funds will never be held.   When we receive larger orders we always call our processing center for a charge approval code.  This ensues that a credit card is valid. When we called our processing center they denied the charge and told us they will not authorize us to charge the credit card provided by [redacted] [redacted].  The processing company informed us that the card that was provided did not have an issuing bank associated with it and they can not give us an approval. We called twice spoke to two different representatives and were given the same answer.  This has been explained to the customer patiently and she was also asked if there was another card she would like to use.  She said the reason it's not going through is because her number of the house is wrong on the order and gave us a different house number. We said okay and tried again with a new address and again we did not get approval. At this time we told the customer that we would have to cancel her order. We simply cannot charge and ship merchandise to a customer if their credit card will not process or if we do not obtain an approval code.  As a specialist from Revdex.com you can understand how that would be a great risk for us. She then called the store again a few weeks later asking where her merchandise is. We once again explained to her that her credit card did not get an approval and we notified her that her order was canceled.  I told her she does not have an active order she started yelling on the phone again asking for the owner, we told her please do not order from us and order from someone else.  She then again ordered the merchandise online with the exact same information again. We again called the processing company and was again denied approval. The customer became very rude and aggressive demanding us to ship the merchandise.  She called our retail store over a dozen times in a few hours, aggressively asking for the owner of the business.  I again explained to her that we cannot ship the merchandise with the credit card she provided on the order and she can either provide us a new card or order the merchandise from another store.  There are hundreds of online stores that sell the exact same merchandise.  As a smaller mom and pop store we cannot take the risk of shipping the merchandise.   If the credit card is in fact valid the customer should contact her Credit Card Customer Service Department and speak to them about why a retail store is not able to charge it.  This was explained to her more than once.   We in no way were rude to her but when a customer calls over a dozen times demanding us to ship her merchandise over and over again it comes to a point where we are just repeating ourselves and getting no where with her.  She is free to purchase this merchandise from hundreds of other websites online, we cannot understand why that would be a problem for her.   I have offered her solutions.  I am sorry I cannot fulfill her order. I am rejecting this response because: Maral (pronounced Maria) stated that Paris Jewelers does not charge a customers credit card until the order is processed and ready to ship, I would hope not as that is the law! So that is just a nonsense statement, one of many. I called Paris Jewelers on September 19, 2016 to verify the business and to see if they offered any coupons or discounts for a first time customer. Maral got very angry that I asked to speak to the owner to verify the business that I was spending $2000 with online, as we all know is risky and an intelligent person will verify the business first. So it started off bad. After I placed my order 112505 on Septmeber 19, 2016, about an hour later Maral called and said that my credit card would not go through. I then told her that it is the address because I put 314 instead of the 1107 in which we own both homes and recently moved from 1107 to 314. She said that was fine and if she needed anything else she would email or call. I received neither. I then called one month to the date later to check the status of my order and was then informed by Maral that she cancelled my order and I'll have to place a new one. She screamed and yelled at me because I had again asked for the owner, in which the first time she stated that SHE was the owner, to which the actual owner Art said that she was not. I had to call back 3 times because she kept screaming and yelling at me and hanging up on me. The 3rd time I called I spoke with a lady named Mary that was appalled by Maral's behavior. My husband then called and spoke with Mary in which he informed her that we had recorded all the phone calls and Mary's response was dear heavens please let us fix this. What can we do to fix this. My husband simply told her we will be calling back to speak with the owner ART when he returns around the beginning of November. My husband also informed Mary that we are business owners as well and if one of our employees ever spoke to a customer in that manner they would immediately be escorted out of the building and not allowed back on our property. SO, I placed my order again on October 19, 2016 134787. And Maral again cancelled my order for no reason other then spite. I know this because I DID call my credit card company who informed me that no charges were EVER attempted from this business. Meaning, Maral immediately cancelled both of my orders. Neither order was ever attempted to process through my credit card company. BOA is not in the habit of lying. My credit card is a [redacted] by [redacted] in which I have had for 25 years. BOA is one of the largest banks in the world. So Maral's statement that my credit card did not have an issuing bank is yet another lie. You will see from my recorded phone calls that I have provided the absolute truth. Maral also stated that when I placed the second order that I used the exact same information, yet another lie that can be proven in the pictures of the screen shots of my order that I am sending with this letter. I used 314 the first time, if she had taken the time to look at my order instead of immediately cancelling my order she would have seen that I used 1107 on the second order so that there would be no complications. The ONLY reason that I was purchasing my dinnerware from Paris Jewelers is because it was on sale. I don't know why anyone would ever do business with this company if it weren't for a sale. What a shame. Art seems like such a dear sweet man. I really don't understand Maral's anger and bitterness and vengefulness against a customer wanting to verify a business before making a $2000 purchase but I also wonder how many people she has does this to and how much business Art has lost because of it. My husband intends on speaking to Art about the amount of business he is losing because of Maral's attitude towards customers.
