Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below This is the exact attitude of non-responsibility I have come to expect from this contractor If I had a detailed bid, I would have a copy The only thing I ever received was a text message with a total amount Never a detailed bid She continues to be irresponsible and a poor example of someone who takes responsibility for poor services It was never told to me that she did not fix wholes until after she completed the paint job, poorly Her crew's attitude was poor and her quality of work poor I had to spend $to fix that which she and her crew did not I will not accept that I am responsible for her poor work I don't care how long she has been in business If this is the type of quality of work that is typical of her company, she will continue to use people for money and give poor services She certainly did not give me a low price on the work, as she indicates Truly, I would warn anyone else against using her services She talks as if she does good work and is very convincing until I wanted her to actually complete details and live up to the quality of workmanship she espouses Regards, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.  This is the exact attitude of non-responsibility I have come to expect from this contractor.  If I had a detailed bid, I would have a copy.  The only thing I ever received was a text message with a total amount.  Never a detailed bid.  She continues to be irresponsible and a poor example of someone who takes responsibility for poor services.  It was never told to me that she did not fix wholes until after she completed the paint job, poorly.  Her crew's attitude was poor and her quality of work poor.  I had to spend $485.00 to fix that which she and her crew did not.  I will not accept that I am responsible for her poor work.  I don't care how long she has been in business.  If this is the type of quality of work that is typical of her company, she will continue to use people for money and give poor services.  She certainly did not give me a low price on the work, as she indicates.  Truly, I would warn anyone else against using her services.  She talks as if she does good work and is very convincing until I wanted her to actually complete details and live up to the quality of workmanship she espouses.

I needed my home painted and contacted companies for estimates. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Paris Painting. I received an estimate for the job and never had any "add-on" fees. I am very pleased with the results. The painting was done with precision and the painting crew was outstanding to work with. I am so pleased with the company and am talking with them to do additional work. I have already recommended the company to neighbors and friends.

[redacted] was given a detailed bid on the expectations of her job from start to finish.  I am unclear why she feels she did not receive a detailed bid?  If she found things to be questionable or unclear I would think, she would have brought that to my attention before  approving the...

proposal.  There was indeed a hole on the back garage stucco wall (no larger than a golf ball). The proposal states;patch stucco area on the back of the garage. During the initial walk through(required to create proposal),I informed [redacted] that any holes larger than a golf ball were out of my scope of work. The area that is mentioned in the proposal is a hole located on the upper portion of the small back garage wall.  The patch required was such a small area that I felt it would not compromise the integrity of the stucco. This was the only hole on the back garage wall that is listed on the bid and the only stucco patch she was charged for. [redacted] did inquire  again about holes that needed to be patched before the painting. I reminded her again that it is out of our scope to repair a hole (stucco) larger than a golf ball. When we saw that no repairs were made, we assumed she chose not to address any other areas. There was a (approximately) 2x2 foot section on the wall that was filled  in (after the job was completed) with  2x4's and floated out about 4 inches thick by her handyman  (this she stated to me later). This would not have been an approved method by any stucco contractor and I would imagine is the true inferior work that was performed that she is speaking of.  There are two stucco peaks on the East and West side of the house that were painted the accentcolor. My crew painted  the back stucco wall that flows with the East side peak  (extremely small area) the accent color staying consistent with the flow of things.  [redacted] did not like this decision and asked to have it changed to the body color.  My foreman changed the color immediately. It was an easy fix and we were happy to do so. She stated (in her complaint) that the paint was so watered  down that it altered the accent color on the trim. I myself called [redacted] when the trim color was being applied  to share my thoughts on the neon like appearance.  I told her it may not be a good choice for a resale situation. Iput a sample of the color on the color swatch that she provided and it was a perfect match.  She told  me to go ahead and continue  with the color.   While I pride myself on the quality of work and completely stand by my crew, things do happen.  Over spray can occur and because it is just a mist of paint, it is easily cleaned.  [redacted] pointed this out to me on a lock and I told her I could come back and remove the over spray  (I was out of remover at the time of the incident). Please keep in mind that [redacted] and myself did a complete walk through at the end of this job.   She conveyed no issues at that time  (exception of over spray).  I found it very disturbing to receive these complaints after the amazing job that my crew provided for her.  Again, she never indicated there were issues of any kind.  If a client calls back with any issues after the job is complete, I follow up myself and rectify it. Things can happen. I would appreciate  the opportunity to fix any problem (that is legitimately my responsibility) a client may have. [redacted] just told me she had to have work done. Work that I should have completed that is not stated in the proposal. In her complaint she states that we were to even out the surface of the wall? This is not listed in the proposal as well. It does indicate that we will use elastomeric around the stem wall (which we did).   I only learned about  her dissatisfaction after contacting her and this was 22 days after the job was completed. There is a message to her on my proposal page with a payment schedule. I always ask for 50% deposit to begin the work andthe balance upon completion.  She had indicated to me that money was a big issue. I workedwith her on her overall price and allowed her to make final payment  two weeks after the job was completed. This is something above and beyond that is rarely offered to a client, but I really wanted to be able to accommodate her. I did not receive payment on the due date. [redacted] informed me she had work done on her home that was my responsibility. I asked her twice to provide me with a receipt to view the charges and the work performed.  She never provided that information. Instead, she advised me that she would walk the home and decide what she felt I was owed. She provided payment well after her due date. She asked me to hold the check for an additional week because the funds were not available. I did not threaten to put a lien on [redacted] home. I would not have thought it would have had to come to such a drastic measure. I would how ever make an attempt to collect the well deserved final payment on what turned out to be an amazing job. I don't honestly feel that she would have made the final payment if she truly believed that we provided  in her words inferior andinappropriate work. I stand by my crew and I know without a doubt from the praise we receivefrom our clients on a daily basis that we provide excellent service. The Revdex.com shows that Paris Painting,LLC meets accreditation standards. I receive a phone call once a year from the Revdex.com to become a accredited member. I have had a A rating with the Revdex.com for many years. More importantly,I am in excellent standing with the Registrar Of Contractors. [redacted] claims do not reflect the quality of service and outstanding history as a paint contractor providingexcellent services for 10 years. Please feel free to visit our website([redacted])  for more testimonials from satisfied customers and to view our work. The holes that needed more extensive repair were discussed early on and are not an item listed in the proposal. Therefore there was no damaged caused by my company that needed repair. Icannot justify paying for repairs that were not listed, out of my scope and repairs needed due to extremely poor workmanship by the handyman.Paris Painting,LLC

As a customer who has done an extensive amount of remodeling, construction and painting and not been satisfied, I am so happy to have found Paris Painting. My experience with painters or contractors is to add at least a week or two to their end date. Not so with Paris Painting, even with unexpected problems the job was done on time. They are neat, trustworthy and know what they are doing. They get the job done, on time, and done right!!! Jules the owner is involved and did more than her fair share of troubleshooting. I have referred this company to many homeowners in our neighborhood and they could not have been happier with the work. If you want it done right, to your expectations, clean, with trusted painters, on schedule, and did I mention DONE RIGHT, hire them. You will have a long term relationship with this company. Peace of mind goes a long way in reliable contractors.
