The job I hired Paris Painting for was to replace/repair siding as needed, then prep and paint the exterior of the house. Imagine my surprise when checking the progress halfway through to find they had painted over everything before any parts had been repaired or replaced. They basically used fresh paint to disguise areas that should have been dealt with properly. When asked, they came up with a flimsy excuse of timing/scheduling, then eventually dismissed this legitimate concern as "that's how it's done". Makes no sense at all.

Their website states "All Painters are Thoroughly Screened". For my
exterior painting job, one of their "thoroughly screened" subcontracted painters entered my home, got paint on my hardwood floors, and walked past a hallway bathroom. Then made their way upstairs, past another hallway bathroom to walk completely through the master bedroom to use that bathroom instead. This violation of my personal space made me feel unsafe. To add insult to injury, they didn't even bother to flush. Disgusting.

After reading this review, if you're some kind of daredevil still
willing to risk your hard earned money hiring this sloppy company, get
every little detail in writing. Every single thing. In my case a verbally agreed upon solution was later met with "he never said that".
In a "he said/she said" situation, they have no qualms about implying
that their customers are lying or confused.

Paris Painting employee visited our house in order to evaluate the exterior painting and provide the quote for painting of the exterior of the house. After they provided the quote, they required the down-payment of 20% of the fee right on spot. We have issued them a check for $461.00. We were going to schedule the paining for later on in the summer. In the meantime we had another company offered us a better quote, so we wanted to cancel the quote with Paris Painting. However they have already cashed the check (before we even scheduled the paining) and refused to returned the 20% downpaymnet fee. We have asked is they will be able to charge us a cancellation fee and return at least some percentage of the $461.00 fee, but they refused. We find it very unfair, and dis-satisfactory that the company would not return the 20% downpaymnet for a job that was never scheduled, and never done. Usually there is a cancellation fee which would be just fine. Will you be able to help?
