Review: I took my car for service to Park Ave Acura. The car was there to be service from 2/17/14 to 2/19/14. after I picked up the car and got home I noticed that my passenger mirror was damaged at this place. It has a crack in the back side of mirror, the mirror swings loose and the bottom part that holds the mirror in place is broken. Park Ave Acura has picture and videos of my car when I first brought it in and the mirror was in perfect working condition. The only thing that mirror had before I brought it to that place was a small dark spot in the rear side of this mirror. I called them and spoke with Mr. [redacted] I explained the situation. He said he will call me back. After waiting several hours for his phone call I decided to go to the place and show them the damages. This person saw the car and the damages. He said he will speak with his manager. After I called them several times he finally returned my call, and In a confrontational manner He told me that the mirror cost is almost $600 dollars and that they refused to pay for entire amount and that I have to pay half of that amount My car was at their shop when it got damaged. I didnt brake it ,they did. They should be reponsable for the entire repair cost to the damages they caused.Desired Settlement: I just want them to fix and repair the damages they caused to my car. Park Ave Acura takes pictures of every vehicle before it is moved from where the customer parks the vehicle.We have documented pictures of the mirror damage but we did not test the function of the mirror to see if it pivioted in or out which the customer states it does not lock into place.Customer brought the vehicle in for a clock problem and a battery issue.We offered to split the cost of the mirror assembly with the customer,customer declined to accept our offer,we as a company value our customers and have decided to replace the mirror for the customer.
