I am rejecting this response because:
It is false! My dad was there to inspect the car My mechanic however was NEVER there, it was too far to ask him to drive. We just trusted this dealer that the car would pass PA inspection*** personally told us that it would be no problem passing inspection I personally saw my trade in being sold on the lot when I had to drive back over and pick up the Durango title. This guy totally mislead us on this car and was incredibly rude when we tried to contact him regarding the Durango problems. Once we got the car up to our mechanic he informed us of all the problems and we were told that the car should never have been sold legally. I want all to know that they cannot trust this man! Do not buy from him!!!!

The person that purchases all of our inventory is a mechanic and we have another mechanic onsite at the dealership and neither one noticed any frame damage on the vehicle in question ( 2002 Durango) while it was on our lot. 
The customer also had the Durango checked...

over by her father and an outside mechanic before the car was purchased. It was deemed safe aside from needing new tires. They we aware of this and purchased the car anyway. They also signed 5 AS IS disclaimers.
 
There was a trade-in (Pontiac Aztec) and it was given an inflated value, as is common practice, to make the deal. Our mechanic went over the car more thoroughly after the sale and it was determined that the trade in actually had quite a few mechanical problems and subsequently sold to a salvage yard. We would not sell it on our lot. 
 
They owned the car for about 10 days before there were any complaints. By that time, their trade in had been sold.
 
Any warranty purchased is handled by a third party. The need to file a claim though the warranty company, not us.
 
We are not going to offer any kind of compensation to this customer.
