Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Scott is a liarHis response about the permit is almost as laughable as him trying to tell me that wiring everything into the breaker box was not part of the roughI have over two months of text messages from him and not ONCE did he ever mention that a permit was holding anything up, in fact before work started, he the supposed “professional” told us it wasn’t necessary and would save us time and money if we skipped the permitI assume that this is some crooked trick he has up his sleeve to CYA when he rob's some poor unsuspecting client of their money If a permit was an issue for him, why would he even begin the work? I admit I am a layman when it comes to permits and I fault myself for not doing my own researchSince receiving his response I have done quite a bit of reading upon the subject and one thing is clear, when he did not pull a permit for the job and advised us against it, we should have ran the other way In fact I can only find a history of him ever having pulled a total of permits under his business license for Park City electricMy Wife and I knew he was going through a hard time when he started this job and we very compassionate and patient with him, and instead of honoring his commitment he took advantage of our kindness and screwed usOn top of everything else he also stole the five lights that the builder had originally installed in our basement At this point I am not expecting any compensation from him, and I have no desire for him to be the one to finish the electrical in our basementWe have already reached out to several honest electricians and with guidance from the honest electricatian we chose we have started the permit processMy only hope is to save someone else the time, money and trouble of giving Scott their businessSincerely, [redacted]

I assume that this is some crooked trick he has up his sleeve to CYA when he rob's some poor unsuspecting client of their money.  If a permit was an issue for him, why would he even begin the work? I admit I am a layman when it comes to permits and I fault myself for not doing my own research. Since receiving his response I have done quite a bit of reading upon the subject and one thing is clear, when he did not pull a permit for the job and advised us against it, we should have ran the other way.  In fact I can only find a history of him ever having pulled a total of 13 permits under his business license for Park City electric. My Wife and I knew he was going through a hard time when he started this job and we very compassionate and patient with him, and instead of honoring his commitment he took advantage of our kindness and screwed us. On top of everything else he also stole the five lights that the builder had originally installed in our basement.  At this point I am not expecting any compensation from him, and I have no desire for him to be the one to finish the electrical in our basement. We have already reached out to several honest electricians and with guidance from the honest electricatian we chose we have started the permit process. My only hope is to save someone else the time, money and trouble of giving Scott their business. Sincerely,
