After trying to explain to the customer why the deposit in question was not refundable, he would not listen to me and stormed out of the building. I then decided to send a letter to him, explaining what the deposit was used for. He never asked me for the receipts for the repairs that had to be done...

Considering how much the repairs to the room cost and the fact that the customer did not contact me until over 15 months after his aunt had vacated the room, we do not believe that a refund of the deposit is warranted.
