The following email was sent to all homeowners that have requested to install an AC unit after possession We trust this should clear up any issues the homeowners currently have"Thank you for your request to install an air conditioning unit adjacent to your unit in the common area Please ensure the tonnage does not exceed what has been installed by the developerWhen you install the condensing line and electrical wire from your personal area to the common area, please ensure that the installation through the exterior wall is sealed from the elements Also ensure there are no protruding brackets that could cause harm to anyone walking too close to the A/C unitPlease be advised that any future repair costs due to the deterioration caused by water leakage will be at your expense Similar to a developer installed air conditioning unit, you take on any liabilities as to is care, maintenance and operation The [redacted] will not be held liable for any issues that arise from this installation or the operation of the air conditioning unit."
