Park Mechanical Reviews (%countItem)

I wouldn't consider this company for any work. I keep getting robocalls from this company. What an terribly intrusive way to try to drum up business.

I would not recommend Park Mecanical. We called Park to do a checkup on our water heater and HVAC after receiving a card in the mail. Amar came out and was very knowledgeable so we followed his advice and invested a large chunk of change to fix areas of concern. It took several follow-up phone calls on our part to get the work completed properly. Each inspection failed and again it took several calls on our part to get Park back out to the house to complete the job right. It got so bad that we called and left a message for the owner of Park; yet never got a return call from him. Park has a few good techs and lots of promises; yet their follow-up and follow-through is very frustrating.

Park Mechanical was contracted to replace a hot water heater in my home in 2018. We had previously (2016) contracted with this business to replace a HVAC unit in our home. While they employed high pressure sales tactics, the installation of the HVAC went well, so we felt comfortable using them again. I took the day off work for the installation. ONE technician came and performed the entire removal and installation by himself. I then took another full day off work to wait for the inspector, who FAILED the installation. Park mechanical then asked me to schedule another day for a technician to correct their mistake and I had to demand for same day service. I was accommodated; however, the technician spent a lot of time on the phone with his wife while he should have been focusing on correcting the issue. I then spent more time discussing the re-inspection with Park Mechanical. *** told me the business would pay the additional fee and then she would schedule the inspection at a time convenient for me. CONVENIENT? I've already missed two days of work, and now I'm looking at a third!! I had to repeatedly call *** to follow-up on the fee being paid and finally received a voicemail that the inspection "shouldn't be a problem to be scheduled" on the day I asked for. The day before the appointment, it occurred to me that no one had confirmed the appointment, so I spent all day speaking to several different people trying to nail down whether or not it was worth my time to take the day off work. I spoke to ***, who appeared to be trying to pick up the pieces left by ***. *** concluded that no appointment had ever been made, even though *** clearly stated on my voicemail that it wouldn't be a problem and she would schedule it when she paid the re-inspection fee. I was absolutely livid at this point and was referred to ***, who told me he would call me back. I then received a call from ***, who introduced himself as the person who cleans up issues. (So, now I'm an issue. Awesome.) He wasn't able to help me schedule the re-inspection and offered to transfer me back to ***. I told him that I would be reporting the company to the Revdex.com and hung up. Shortly after that, I received a voicemail from *** advising that the Revdex.com would require us to work it out, so I had better call him back and do just that. I let my husband call him. *** convinced my husband that he would take care of the re-inspection. *** told my husband that he would send us a $100 gift card so we could go out to dinner at Park Mechanical's expense. *** also told my husband that he would contact me with open dates for the inspection so I could choose a date that 'works for me'. NONE OF THAT HAPPENED. We waited for 26 days and not only did *** not call with inspection dates, but no gift card arrived in the mail. We spent over $2,000 and they couldn't be bothered to follow through with anything even resembling customer service.
Today, I called Park Mechanical and confronted *** with his broken promises. He kept apologizing and telling me how it was unacceptable. (NO KIDDING.) I told him that I expected a 50% refund due to all the frustration and inadequate service provided by his company. *** then told me he would look into it and get back to me by the close of business today. The next call came from ***, who identified himself as the business owner. He asked if I was calling regarding the HVAC or the hot water heater. (SERIOUSLY?!?) The fact that he asked that question either means he was trying to upset me or he just didn't care about providing competent customer service. After I brought him up to speed, he told me that either he could schedule the inspection or I could. He gave me a phone number to call to do it myself. I asked about the refund that would go a long way to make this horrible experience not as bad. He then told me that he wouldn't do it, so I told him that I would report my bad experience to the Revdex.com and leave honestly horrible reviews regarding Park Mechanical. I believe that when a company does not take any steps to mitigate negative customer service received by faithful customers, then they deserve bad reviews. *** then accused me of extortion, so I hung up on him.
*** at least offered to send a $100 gift card because he KNOWS that what Park Mechanical did is wrong. The install was wrong, and the service rendered from *** was wrong. But then *** made it worse by not following through.
I am not extorting anyone. I simply want Park Mechanical to make a terrible situation (that THEY CAUSED) not so bad.
I will hold off leaving any public reviews for this company until this complaint has been resolved. If my request is not granted, I feel I am within my rights as a customer to share my experiences with other potential customers.

I am rejecting this response because:My husband and I have each received a voicemail from *** at Park Mechanical requesting a return call to 'discuss points of the complaint', or words to that effect. In my husband's voicemail, *** erroneously claimed to have spoken to my husband a couple of weeks ago. I will not debate the issue. I want a simple answer from Park Mechanical as to whether or not they desire to make a bad situation better by issuing the requested refund. Either yes or no, and then we will work from there. I do not want to debate the issue further. This is ridiculous that this issue has gotten this far.

We fixed the correction and offered to meet her demands if she were willing to sign a statement that she would not make any further threatening demands. She said she would talk to her husband about it and let us know. She never responded or answered our calls.

I am rejecting this response because:

I am forced to reject the business response due to messages received from the Revdex.com indicating there is information from their attorneys I need to hear prior to making a decision. Despite numerous calls and voicemails, we have been unable to obtain this information. I can be reached at ***.

Recently had routine maintenance done on my heater. Butch R explained in detail what he was doing and why. Very personable. And didn't seem to mind all my questions.

Hello,

We have made several attempts to work with Mrs.. Starting with the initial order was for $12,150 and financed through ***. During our initial visit our comfort adviser *** worked with both Mrs. and *** to go over the financing options. *** stayed with Mrs. while she submitted her documents to *** in case she needed any further assistance. Once *** informed us they had everything we needed *** left, making sure Mrs. was happy with her new purchase and financing. The next day Mrs. contacted *** and cancelled her financing, *** went back out to Mrs. home to further assist Mrs.. Mrs. was unhappy with the terms and fees associated with her financing to provide 1st in class service *** provided a large discount to Mrs. of $1,500 to cover any fees associated with the *** financing. Mrs. was very happy with this and wanted to reinstate the financing. *** and Mrs. phoned *** and went through the terms with them again she felt comfortable and was again happy. A few days went by and Mrs. cancelled her financing again, this time after the installation. Mrs. has phoned in to our call center yelling and screaming with our call center staff, our management staff has made multiple attempts to work with her. She continues to be combative. We have worked out different scenarios on multiple occasions with Mrs. where she is happy and everything is fine. Then she phones back in combative again refusing work with us. We are more than willing to come up with a solution to help satisfy mrs..

The two men that put the furnace & AC system they broke my fish aquarium and the water from the aquarium ran on my expensive rug and didn't even tell me what had happen. *** took off a $1,000.00 Everything wasn't professionally done, right at all. I even was nice and wrote a good recommendation letter for Park Mechanical for ***.

On 1/18/18 we made the necessary adjustments to the clients equipment. Unit is operational and client is satisfied.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT USING PARK MECHANICAL FOR PLUMBING.
I chose Park Mechanical after discussing the plumbing job with one of their tech's. Then another tech came out and we felt he knew what he was doing. After he installed the new pipe, he did not show up again to finish and we were told they "cleaned house" and he was let go. It took 3 visits from the county for inspections to pass and thankfully the county was inspecting because Park kept leaving out critical parts of the installation. When the county inspector left he told us to fix a bunch of small items which Park didn't do. I had to call again and again and again to complain that not all the hot water pipe was being insulated, which was also one reason it failed the county inspection. After 6 weeks of having this job going on not all the pipe is insulated, there is a leak on one of the valves they installed and after a week of waiting after calling that in I still had not heard from them on when it would get fixed!!! After finally calling again and being a jerk I finally get an appointment in 4 days to fix the leak...well I can tell they are very concerned about us!!! Incredibly sloppy work and very unreliable is how I would rate this job.

Had a new furnace and A/C unit installed by Park mechanical this summer but still wanted the furnace checked for the winter. Mike R was the service tech. and was very through being sure everything possible was checked. All went well and gave me info as to how to have Park Mechanical check the thermostat installed with the furnace regarding proper set-up and to have the programing feature explained to my wife and I. Mike was very courteous and explained each step of the tune-up. Super job. I will be requesting him in the future.

Mike R. with PARK Mechanical did a great job for us today. He not only was thorough but he actually found that we had a gas leak in our heating unit. " Thank God" Hate to think what could have happened. He checked our air ducts and insulation, then explained how a iWave air purifier could help keep the unit and filters clean, we bought one. He is a very honest person, not pushy at all. Thank-You Mike.

The service technician Mike R did a great job servicing our HVAC unit and went beyond with checking the vents and insulation.

Park Mechanical Response

Thank you for sharing your experience with us regarding your service visit with Mike. We are happy to serve you.

Park Mechanical installed a new air conditioner at my house in July 2017. The return air grille does not fit. There is a big gap between the Return Air Grille, and the wall. They told me over 2 months ago that it would take 2 weeks to order a new grille that would fit correctly. I have been dealing with *** (identified himself as a manager). When I call for status, ***. has been telling me that he will check on the grille, and call me back. He does not call me back.

The work has failed inspection by the City.

I have wrote a letter to the CEO (***) , and General Manager (***) and sent it certified mail (9/15/17); and they have not responded.

I want this repaired so it can pass inspection.

I have made calls and spoke to Wayne on the following dates: 7/27/17, 7/28, 8/11, 8/31, 9/1, 9/13, 9/21, 10/13, 10/16/17 (left voice message 10/16).

Park Mechanical Response

This has been completed client is happy and no further follow up is required.

Revdex.com:

*** from Park took assisted in this resolution. He called back when he said he would, and communicated well. He had someone out pretty quickly to take measurements. They fixed the issue last Thursday, and it passed inspection on the Monday 11/13. The grille looks great now, and I am happy with the rest of work Park Mechanical did on the installation.

Park also did an install at my parents home a couple of years ago, and they had a great experience.

I believe management has done what they needed to, not only resolve my problem, but to try and prevent future incidents like this from occurring.

Thank you.

Extremely fast service. Service Technician was quick and courteous.

Park Mechanical replaced our heating and air over 9 months ago. During the installation of the air unit I was notified that it would not fit through a door way access to the backyard. They wanted to either cut through an existing detached garage or cut the fence/wall door frame to gain access. I said they would have to cut the door at the wall/fence and not the structure of my home. They stated it could be repaired after the installation, I mentioned that sometime I would like that wall/fence replaced with a block fence and asked if they did that type of work also. I mentioned that I would pay the difference and replace it with block wall if the price was right. They called *** as they just had partnered with him who came over on day 2 of the installation process (after the wall was cut and new unit was in place) to take measurements and get me a quote. After several months of me calling and asking questions about the repair or the quote someone called and gave me a quote for $8000.00 an extremely high quote. I asked why it was so high for a 15 ft fence with a door in it. He stated he never received measurements or that it was just a fence. I told him I would not pay $8000.00 and it just needed repaired back to how it was before they cut it leaving it unsecured.

After months of calling and speaking to several people I still have no resolve or questions answered. There was an issue with the final inspection which needed a Park Mechanical representative to address. At his arrival he noticed the wall/fence and asked if his company did this work, I stated YES. He took photos and called *** to address this workmanship. *** called and apologized for this work and assumed it had been handled. He said he would get his team out to make the repairs. After weeks of waiting I called back, *** stated that he thought this issue was resolved. Assured me it would get fixed and I would here back from him. After 2 more weeks I called and asked to speak to ***'s superior. They patched me to ***, he stated he had heard about the issue at my home and thought it was resolved. I asked if he had seen the photos and he stated they were not attached to any information on my home. He asked I text the photos to him. I sent the photo's and he stated he would have this issue resolved very soon. Today it has been 2 weeks with no return calls or updates. I have texted *** twice in these two weeks asking for updates, no response.

I called Park Mechanical again today asking for information. They put me in contact with ***. *** stated to me that he is the middle man and does not want to be involved with my issue. He stated he spoke with *** who claims I refused to pay for a crane and told them to cut my wall/fence. I asked that if this was the case why was I not called or notified? He stated it was not his job to call me. I also asked how could have this conversation taken place after the unit was already installed? Mr *** was on the job site after the cutting was done and unit was installed. I then mentioned that this conversation never happened as my property is laid out in a way the crane would have never been an option in the first place. I asked *** if he still believed this work is unacceptable and he replied "yes, if this was my home I would be very upset but I don't pay the bills here, it isn't my call." I asked why after 9 months does an employee of Park Mechanical who dropped the ball make up a story to protect his neglect get the final say without reaching out to me? He stated he does not want to be involved. He also stated Jamie and *** made the decision to not make this right and that they refuse to fix it.

I called and left a message for Jamie, not expecting he will return a phone call. None of their employee's return calls or address concerns.

Park Mechanical Response

Hello ***,

Park Mechanical corrected the wall. No further work is needed.

Customer Response

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Thank you for your involvement in this matter as it facilitated a quick response and resolution. The wall has been restored to closely resemble its condition before it was altered for access.

I would like to be clear to mention there was never an issue with the quality of equipment or work surrounding new heat and air unit Park Mechanical installed. My only complaint was the lack of communication or willingness to follow through with what was damaged. Now that has been resolved I am happy.
