Park Paralegal Reviews (3)

First of all this company did not provide correct services and I was out of $250 that I paid for our divorce. They crossed out a notarized ion for no apparent reason. This I was unable to file for divorce because my husband moved out of state. Secondly when I wrote a review for thier business online, they threatened to "air my dirty laundry" to the public. Which is hindering thier Privacy Policy. I have photo graphic evidence of [redacted] stating those exact words. They can and will be provided. I was appalled at how she reacted to my review instead of simply saying that she would be more than willing to help me.

I would stay FAR AWAY from Park Paralegal. They completely scammed me. I made my deadline to file the Notice of Appeal crystal clear the first meeting with Airrel. She told me that before took my money, she needed be *sure* they could abide the deadline. So calls the person, whom I believe is the actual paralegal there, Donna. Airrel tells me that Donna will be out for the next week (i.e., 5 business days), but that she'll return the following Wed., which will give her two days to file it. I pause and ask her directly "Will you definitely be able to do it in two days?", and she said "yes". So I give them $250 cash later that day. The red flags started flaying when they didn't even know that the Notice of Appeal gets filed with the Court of Appeals up in Denver!!! When I told them this, she started to debate this with me, as if I was wrong (I am 100% correct!). So I return on Wednesday, and they have prepared the most embarrassing "non" Notice of Appeal document (which is an official form...very specific to the Court of Appeals), which was the product of 6 business days of work, and $250. As soon as I saw it (mind you, I'm not an attorney, nor a paralegal), I knew it wasn't anything close to correct. So...I go home, and within 2-3 hours email her the *correct* form. She then tells me they want $75 rush fee to "send to their typist". They don't have anyone in their office who can type???!!! Mind you, this 2-3 hours after we met, and they've probably put in about 15 minutes of work. So...I demand a refund, because they didn't do A SINGLE THING FOR ME. THEY HAVE NO CLUE WHAT THEY ARE DOING IN THAT OFFICE. AND *MOST IMPORTANTLY*...THEY HAVE NO ETHICS, HEART, NOR HONESTY. They told me they would get it done by Friday. The assumption...paying $250, is that they not just have a clue, but that they have an excellent understanding of this end of the legal industry. The fact they didn't even know that when a person appeals a judge's ruling (I detailed EVERYTHING re: the case with Airrel), an appeal is heard by the Court of Appeals in DENVER...is nothing less than scary. And above and beyond everything else, besides the fact that they should've said, "Terry, I'm sorry, I just don't think we can meet your requirements, based on the fact your deadline is coming up so quick" (instead, she tried blaming the quickly upcoming deadline on me (after the week had passed)...as if that was my fault). The bottom line is - they didn't follow through with their promise to provide a service, and were *100% aware* of the deadline as of our first meeting! Which means only ONE THING - REFUND!!!! Did I get one? [redacted] NO. She basically said in so many words, that I was SOL (and was VERY RUDE about it, while I remained relatively respectful). Airrel turned from a reasonably civil person initially, but as soon as I emailed her the proper document, she instantly turned into the rudest, coldest, rudest person, demanding $75 rush fee. And as soon as I humbly requested a refund, she was off the phone and long gone. I formally requested a refund via email 2-3 weeks ago, and no reply, no refund. So make no mistake - Park Paralegal are exceedingly incompetent, but worse than that...they're entirely heartless, GENUINE CROOKS!!!
