I am rejecting this response because: Yes, I was told that I could send the unit out for repairs to one of the listed shops on MM website completely at my expenseI believe that this is what I see as the problem, once you buy the unit you are stuck with their sell/repair systemThank goodness I don't have to take my car back to the original certified repairman to change a spark plug or starter or have the certified home builder come in and fix the door handle that is not workingI like the unit the first year I had it but after the one year warranty is up you start having problemsI have friends that have had the same problem and now their traps are sitting in the shed because they don't want to fool with the sending out and paying half of what the trap cost to repair itMake parts available, people work on house furnaces all the time and are not required to have a certified gas installer work along side them to connect the gas
