I just wanted to let you know that we went above and beyond for the guest from the minute he arrived up to the last minute of his departure; no issues were reported upon check out, all of his complaint came to you and after the fact. We offered to send his lost and found item but he
became verbally abusive demanding us to pay for the shipment and extras. At this point we are not able to issue the full credit that the guest is asking for and of course we appreciate your support. Thank you so much. *** *** | General Manager* *** * * ***

The response is not true at all! I doubt they record their incoming calls and I know for sure when I called the owner on his cellphone that conversation was not recordedBut I can ensure from the time I booked the room through Priceline I've had issues with this businessYou can contact Priceline and they will confirm that I had a grievance with the hotel within the first minutes of reserving the roomThey even called the hotel and was treated rudely by the staffAnd with the concern of my property being returned this is exactly what happened: I called to tell them I left my keys, the staff who answered the phone told me to call the ownerI did, he said that I would have to pay for the return of the keys which I had no problem doingI called FedEx and set it up for the keys to be picked up at the hotel by the carrier, called the owner and informed him that FedEx would require he print out a shipping labelHe immediately disagreed and said that would cost him money and he is not doing itI told him what other alternative does he suggest, he said anything that doesn't cost himHe then hung upSo I called FedEx back and informed them he would not print the label and is there any other way to get my keys shipped, they told me I could have them dropped offSo I called the owner again and asked if someone could drop them off down the street at the local FedEx where I had already payed to have the keys shippedAgain he was hostile and disagreed saying that still will cost him to drive across town drop off some keys and its not his problem to worry aboutOnce I told him the address was literally down the street he became more upset and raised his voice saying once again its not his problem and that he is a busy man with other hotels he has to go toI was upset but not once did I raise my voice or become rude with this manAnd that's why he was so angered because I killed him with kindness! I had to call someone to drive from Chicago just to pick the keys up and drop them off less then mile from this businesses locationEverything I've stated in this complaint is true and anyone can contact Priceline to verify the complaint, anyone can contact FedEx to verify that I was going back and forth trying to figure out a way to get those keys sent to meIn the end I paid $to have them overnighted so I can get into my own home and drive my car as well as get into my office at workI don't even want the refund anymore but I promise you I will never support this man and any of his businesses again, if he is willing to lie and say I became verbally abusive then I know he has no respect for himself, his business

I made a reservation and attempted to cancel same day after finding out the place smelled of smoke and was not at all desirable. When I attempted to contact the hotel I was hung up on and the owner himself was the one who did it. I attempted to make the reservation through the hotel and was told I had to do it through booking.com. They were rude and completely unhelpful I am counting my losses and not even going to go to the hotel.

Review: I called to make a reservation at this hotel...the person could not speak any English( so hard to understand). U ask to make a reservation and they give you a phone number to the guy (their boss)and it was is cell phone number...He can not speak English either....so I made the reservation. I want on the computer to see reviews of this and did not like what I saw REALLY BAD REVIEWS. So of course I called back to cancel the reservation and the guy said "for today" and no in sept. he asked for my name and told him then he said " you booked it from booking.com, and you have to call them" I said no I called you....then the line went quiet and did hear anything so I ask if he was still there and he said yes.............he gets back on the line and asked for my name again and then he said it was cancelled...I asked for a comformation number and he said that he does not give those...I asked because he has my credit card and was rude, so then says" don't you understand English and I done do that so FK YOU, then hung up".....Desired Settlement: I want then call or go talk to this guy, was rude and needs to get shut down............I was an as...and worried that my credit card number may by used by this guy

Review: There were numerous issues to complain about! I understand they all do not fall under the initial reason for filing this complaint but these are my grievances: Upon reserving room at advertised price the actual check in time wasn't shown until after reservation was completed. Leading to additional charges for each hour that I checked in prior to an unusual 2:30 pm check in time. When I called to clarify as well as inform them of an early arrival time I was told "you pay more for coming early, ok", next was a dial tone. the individual who answered the phone just hung up without properly addressing the matter. So I called back to ensure the room would be available and once again I was told "I told you that you have to pay extra to check in early, its $5.00 for each hour bye"...Once again I was left with a dial tone. After a third and final call I was able to get a proper but still very aggressive and rude response. I called the booking agency who to was rudely treated by the same gentleman. It wasn't until I made it back to my home in Dallas, TX I realized I had left a set of keys to my home, car ,and work. I called the motel and was actually given the owners number because the clerk did not want to handle the issue. Sad to say the owner offered no help in recovering and returning my keys. I personally arranged for fedex to send them overnight and when I informed the owner that that the local fedex office less than a mile away just needed him to drop off the keys he said "that will cost me money and im not doing it"! So I had to call a family member in Chicago and asked them to drive 2 hours in the snow to a filthy hotel to take a set of keys down the street to the local fedex so I can get into my home here in dallas. Other issues were the bed had burn holes in the sheets, the curtain had a hole in it which allowed people who passed by to see directly into my room,the couch was ridden with burn holes and stains,and the refrigerator in the room was unplugged and inside smelled of mold. There was no soap to wash properly,let me be honest,the soap that was stuck to the sink was unwrapped and previously used. The place is hoorid and I will never return to this place again.Desired Settlement: I only want to be refunded because not only is the pricing improperly advertised, dealing with the staff, owner, and the filth of the room is unacceptable.

Review: I booked a room for 3/12/15-3/13/15 at Park Ridge in Kenosha through booking.com. Nowhere in the booking did it state that I had to arrive by a certain time or the room would be charged and I would not be allowed to stay. I live about 4 hours from the hotel and booked at 2:14 pm on 3/12/15 and would be leaving when my daughter got off work that evening at 7 pm. We arrived around 11 pm and were refused the room. We were told we would have to pay double the price to receive a room. The person checking in behind us, made a comment and the check-in person told her not worry, that it didn't apply to her. She said I had to arrive by 2:30 pm in order to stay with my reservation. I called booking.com and they reviewed the motel information and confirmed there was nothing in their records to state that there was a cutoff time. They attempted to call and e-mail the hotel for one hour from the time I called and received no response. The check-in person locked the door to the office and refused to answer when I rang the bell or knocked, however, she let other customers in three times as I waited. At 1:30 am, I finally found another hotel in town with rooms available.Desired Settlement: I just want a refund for the $68.26 they billed me two days later.
