Dear Revdex.com,This letter is in response to [redacted] 's latest correspondence. As stated in the first response, we are a independently contracted parking enforcement agencyWe do not control the automated pay machines, nor the amounts that are charged; we do not own these lotsAll our company does is parking enforcement based on the expiration time on the receipts This is a private lot and this customer is under no obligation to use this lot Furthermore, the time of expiration was clearly stated on the parking receipt However, we will share this complaint with the lot owners so they can make necessary adjustments if they see fit.Thank you for your timeSincerely,Corinne K***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I’ve been parking at W 3rd St for the last several years on Saturday nightsIn the last year the lot no longer had an attendant present and you were required to pay the automated machineThe machine states the following rates: $for 0-minutes$daily max (until midnight) $after midnight $for weekends For the last few weeks I and several other patrons of this lot have been ticketed even after purchasing a parking spot for the night and properly displaying the receiptOnce you pay the fee on a Saturday night you get a receipt that expires at 11:59pm no matter what time you arrive and there isn’t an option listed to pay for any of the other listed rates, so paying customers are given tickets sometimes less than two hours after paying the stated weekend fee!! I understand the printed receipt states the expiration time and date however you don’t find this out until after you’ve paid and there are no refunds!! It is my belief that this company is targeting a specific crowd in the hopes that these frivolous parking tickets are just paid and not disputedIt’s a win/win for them as they either get the $payment and the customer leaves to park where they’re accommodated or they get the $for the parking and then an additional $30-$for the parking ticket!! At the very minimum this company should update their signage advising clients to not park there until after midnight seeing as they have the inability to do for their Saturday night clients as thy do for the Friday night clients. Friday nights your receipt don't expire until 5am the next day which makes senseRegards,
*** ***

May 21, 2017 To *** ***: This email is in response to a written letter that we received regarding case # ***. Park Select is a private parking lot management and monitoring company that has been in business for over ten years offering parking lot owners customer specific
parking solutionsWe establish parking plans and enforcement for privately owned lots. *** *** has been issued two parking citationsOne of them was disputed, and our independent arbitrator gave her a one-time courtesy and her fine was cut in half even though the time stamp on her pass was expired at the date of ticket. This email correspondence is copied below. The lot where *** *** has been parking is a private, pay for parking lot, and there is signage all around the lot that states that parking must be paid forWe do enforcement and give citations to anyone that has not paid for parking. Our terms are very clear to anyone that chooses to park in the lot that parking is to be paid for. On every paid parking receipt that is issued it clearly states when the parking receipt will expireThere is no inappropriate ticketing, it is black and white; if a parking receipt is not shown on the dashboard, or if it has expired, they are subject to a citation if one of our officers audits the lot. In addition, we have an independent dispute arbitrator and anyone may send in a dispute. However, there was no mistake made on this case; her parking receipt had expired, as can be noted from the email below. If she feels a mistake was made on the other citation, she is welcome to issue a dispute and send pertinent information, such as the parking receiptIf it is determined we made an error, we will gladly issue her a full courtesy void. Please do not hesitate to contact me if there are further questions
