Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: We were afraid to get him to return because of the mess he left us to clean up.We had to do it ourselves and we are both in our 80's.He also said there would be inch concrete after fixing cracks on porch and patioThis was layer of powder, not a layer of concrete as promisedAlso, the powder came up when sweptHe did such a lousy job that we had to get another contractor to remedy the disasterThe blue tape was stuck to the walls and we couldn't remove itWe never saw the he said would do the concrete workHe had a young boy for his helper It was truly a messWe even picked up a full bucket of concrete pieces after he leftWe think it is only right that he refund our money of $We had to pay over $3,to fix itThe way the job was handled was a scamPhotos were sent before this so you can see what a bad job it wasThank you for considering our complaintWe wouldn't want someone else to go through thisWe trusted him to do a god job and he let us downYou may contact [redacted] *** to prove what we are sayingPhone number is [redacted] Sincerely, [redacted]

I explained to them at the very beginning that with resurfacing concrete that it doesn’t come out as it does with brand new concreteI guess he didn’t like the new surface we put downThey paid half up front and they paid the other half when we were finished, so I thought they were happy with the
jobThey did complain and I went back and asked them what I could do because in the consultation I told them the new surface will be a different color and will not look the same as it did beforeI went back there and to make them happy, we came to an agreement that I would put the second coating on with no chargeThe next day after it dried they said they didn’t like itI told them the only option left was to grind off sealant, but we did repair cracks at no chargeAt that point they thanked me and I thought it was all taken care of

10/6/17- Mediator called Consumer and left message with extension and call back times.10/6/17- The man claimed that he is a member of the Revdex.com but he's notI want my full refund or at least some kind of settlement because he shouldn't be able to do thisI will have my son come over and help send the pictures over to you againThey said they'd come out and fix it with guys but he only came with a boy so we should've known then10/9/17- These are just a few of the photos we took to prove what a mess he left us to clean up after him and we have more too if you need themWe tried to find out hoe to copy the bill, but with no luck, but we can send it to you if you need itWe assume the letter we sent is still in your file*** told us that they could verify the mess that was left and here is their name and phone number[*** ***-main phone number is ***, cell ***Fax ***]They are the ones that corrected and fixed everythingAs we told you before,he lied that he belonged to the Revdex.com and also lied about the work that he could doWe hope this helps and we get our money back from *** ***He shouldn't be allowed to lie to people that he is registered with the Revdex.comIf you need anymore information, please let us knowWe will be back home this afternoon after 2P.M. 10/9/17- Mediator called and left message with the Business and gave times for call back and extension.10/11/17- Mediator called and left message with the Business and gave times for call back and extension.10/18/17- Called and left message with business notifying that that would be the last attempt to reach him. Gave times for call back and extension. [redacted] called back and left message saying that they were supposed to put sod, mulch, and braces down. They didn't and I ended up putting sod down and it died because they didn't water it. Mediator called back and left message. 10/20/17- I'm rejecting their request for an $1100 refund for labor. They paid in two stages, half at the beginning and half at the end, so I thought it was satisfactory when they paid me the second half. They came back later after talking to a neighbor saying they didn't like it so I put down another coat at no cost and told them resurfacing concrete looks different. They didn't like it, so they asked me to re-strip it so they could do something different, so I did at no cost and was done with them. I do not have any options for a resolution because I'm done with them. I did the job.

This was layer of powder, not a layer of concrete as promised. Also, the powder came up when swept. He did such a lousy job that we had to get another contractor to remedy the disaster. The blue tape was stuck to the walls and we couldn't remove it. We never saw the 4 he said would do the concrete work. He had a young boy for his helper.  It was truly a mess. We even picked up a full bucket of concrete pieces after he left. We think it is only right that he refund our money of $2695.00. We had to pay over $3,000.00 to fix it. The way the job was handled was a scam. Photos were sent before this so you can see what a bad job it was. Thank you for considering our complaint. We wouldn't  want someone else to go through this.
