Outstanding, Upfront, Honest! service. [redacted] in Sales and [redacted] in finance made the car buying experience easy. No hidden car sales agendas, or high pressure tactics. I was relaxed in the straight forward honest sales approach. I walked in with a bank check ready to purchase and walked out with the preowned car I wanted, a three year/36,000 mile warranty, and a lower payment then I would have had with my pre-financed check! Awesome guys, Awesome time! Thanks [redacted] Honda

After being notified that my car was ready for pick-up I found parts missing that the mechanic still had in his posession.I have an actively open case with [redacted] Automobile Company for a recalled power steering hose. Due to the recalled item my car was not able to make it to the nearest [redacted] dealer. [redacted] called, informed me that I would be reimbursed in full for parts/maintenance for the recall performed at Parker Honda, and made arrangements with the service manager at Parker Honda of Morehead City. The service manager called and notified me that he had to order the part needed for the recall. Once the part arrived I drove the vehicle approximately 15 miles and dropped it off on 16 January, 2014. The maintenance was performed the morning of 17 January, 2014. The maintenance included replacement of the recalled power steering hose, power steering pump, serpentine belt, and re-servicing of depleted fluids. I received a call from the service department at 11:25 am informing me that the serpentine belt needed replaced. They gave me an estimate and asked before performing the maintenance which I was actually pleased with. I received my next call at 1:25 pm informing me that my car was ready. I was dropped off at the dealership. I went and paid the full $511.11 bill. After paying, I went out and inspected my car before starting it. I noticed a C-clamp, grommet, and bolt missing that secure the recalled power steering hose to a bracket; along with old/new fluids lost from the power steering system never attempted to be cleaned/removed. I went back in to the service department and could not find the acting service department manager. There were two mechanics sitting at a computer inside the entrance so I asked them if one of them performed the maintenance on my vehicle. One confirmed. I asked him to follow me to my vehicle. I pointed out the missing clamp, grommet, and bolt and asked him if he was aware of where the items were. He said yes and walked to the back of the shop. I don't know if he had them in his possession or if he had to retrieve them from the trash. He then returned with the items and handed them to me. He offered no apology and no offer to fix the wrong; and acted like he didn't care. If these simple items were left to the wayside, what else should I be worried about? Does this mechanic perform maintenance like this on all vehicles he repairs? Would he do this type of shoddy work on his own car? This is the car used to transport my family in and take this issue very seriously. Having another obligation to meet I had to leave the dealership. I called and reached the acting service department manager and voiced my discontent with the service I received. He asked me if there was anything he could do at the time. I told him no, I wanted to talk to the head service department manager who was not available thus far. He told me that he would personally speak to the mechanic about the issue and communicate my concern with the department manager upon his return and have him call me back to resolve this. After making the 15 mile drive back to my residence I parked the car and noticed a burning smell when getting out of the car. I opened the hood and had smoke billowing out from under the hood from the old/new fluids. I have not yet been able to determine if there is still a leak, but I have already lost almost half a reservoir of power steering fluid. After seeing this it was too late to contact anyone; the service department was closed. I called the morning of 18 January, 2014. I spoke to [redacted]; the acting department manager and told him about newly discovered issues after my return trip from the dealership. He empathized and expressed his concern for this issue as well. He assured me that this issue will be escalated to the department manager [redacted] upon his return on Wednesday the 22nd of January.Desired SettlementI would like a full refund for the services perfomed at Parker Honda. Business Response We have contacted our customer directly and we have already resolved this matter.
