Parking Management & Enforcement Reviews (11)

I went to drop off a bag to my apartment, put money in the meter and left blinkers on, still gave me a ticket for no reason. Fix your meters if they are not working not my fault if they are not working. Called them 2 mins after the ticket on my dashboard, no response. I literally went for 5 mins and got a ticket with the fact putting money in the stupid meter. I've a witness and pictures, will take this further if they don't answer my calls and emails.

I got a ticket for going to Starbucks when it said lot was for Starbucks customers. I was parked right by the Starbucks. Been parking there for 12 years going to Starbucks. I was sitting at Starbucks outside with my coffee and coffee cake. I have no idea what I did. No one to contact. I'm not giving my bank info if there is no legit address or representative. The police have no idea about this company or why I was ticketed while patronizing at Starbucks

As stated in the reviews above, there is no address listed to talk to anyone at this company in person and no information listed online about the company except for the website to pay the ticket, where again, no information about the company itself is listed. I have a PAID-for permit to park in the lot I was ticketed for parking within. I had to switch vehicles with my family as we were moving my grandfather from independent to assisted living after he had fallen several times and no longer had mobility enough to care completely for himself. We had to move him within a few short days and clear out his old apartment to avoid hefty charges and needed to move some of the furniture from his old apartment to my apartment to store. I had to switch vehicles with my mother to have enough room in the vehicle to transport this furniture. I arrived at my apartment at 8:00 or 8:05 PM on 7/13/18. When I had a free hand from moving I put the permit on the van and saw that I had already been ticketed at 8:11PM. It should have been fairly clear that I was not an illegally parked undergraduate here at University Terrace to park when I had a minivan full of furniture in the lot and was clearly in the process of moving said furniture. Had I been able to use my own vehicle, I would have but we had very few days to move EVERYTHING from an apartment my grandparents had shared for 14 years and had very few options available. I would have paid for a visitor's parking permit for this van but the office was not open when I arrived and I couldn't have arrived any earlier given the circumstances with moving and clearing my grandfather's apartment. We were only told we had to completely clear his apartment by 7/17/18 last Wednesday evening (7/11/18) when I arrived to help him move so I was unable to purchase a visitor's parking permit beforehand since I didn't know that we would need to move all the furniture out immediately and need to switch vehicles to do so.
Desired Outcome: The company only gives you 48 hours to pay the ticket, so I am hopeful that I will hear back from them before 8:00PM tonight regarding this situation as I have now contacted them via phone (with a voicemail), email, and through this site. The desired outcome is that the ticket and any late fees I may incur while awaiting a response will be dismissed as I have a PAID permit to park in this lot.

Gave me a ticket on my graduation day for going over the meter by 2 minutes, outside of MY APARTMENT BUILDING. Sent an email complaining, no response. Tried calling their phone number but they have a fax plugged into the line so nobody can reach them. I paid because I was worried about the whole collections thing, but I highly doubt these crooks could influence anything other than a local towing company. Send me a refund you criminals. I received a parking ticket yesterday in the California Tortilla parking lot of State College. As mentioned above, there is no way to contact and appeal and parking violation. My boyfriend and I have plans to eat there for dinner. I literally walked across the street to meet him (works on campus building right across the street) and go into California Tortilla together. In a matter of minutes there was a very rude and unprofessional lady ticketing my car. I ate at the restaurant and have a receipt of proof that I was a customer. I did not take advantage of parking and know that you need to be a customer there in order to park in the lot. I confronted the lady and she said it already went through before I could stop her. I am very upset and never had to deal with this. I am avoiding downtown at this point.

Review: I received a parking notice on my vehicle when I was parked there for 5 minutes dropping something off in my apartment. I received a citation from Parking Management and Enforcement. I tried contacting them however the phone number goes right to a fax machine. I cannot visit the office because their address is listed as a P.O. Box. I am not sure what to do about this because I do not trust sending my information to a company who does not have anything else listed besides saying that I just pay. This is not right and this is not a practice that should be happening. I want to prevent anyone else from falling into the same fate as me. I am not going to pay this until I can actually get a hold of a company. I was targeted as another car parked there also and was not issued a ticket at the same time as me and they park there without a permit without a problem, however I was the only one that received a ticket.Desired Settlement: I think that this practice should not be happening as I cannot appeal because there is an address that is listed as a P.O. Box. I have never heard of this company before and after multiple attempts a phone number that is listed goes to a fax machine. This is not good business operations and I think that this business should be shut down and my ticket should be voided along with anyone else who was ticketed by them.

Price gouging. There is of course a fee for the ticket, which is reasonable, but then there is a "convenience fee" of $2.50 for paying online. So there is no way to hand over the exact fee of the ticket to anyone locally in State College, because this company has no office address. So you either pay for a stamp or you pay $2.50 just to pay the ticket online. This is a private company, and therefore they have no legal process to prosecute for not paying tickets from them, other than trying to harass you with collections later. Processing fee my [redacted] PME, if you wanted to charge more, just change the ticket amount. I'm paying this time, but next time you won't get a dime from me. These tickets are a perfect way to discourage business in the buildings run by the very people who contract you to manage parking. I was a customer at a local business, not someone abusing the parking there.

Review: I received a parking ticket after leaving my car unattended for 10 minutes in the parking lot of [redacted] in order to carry groceries to my apartment. I left my car headlights blinking so that the parking enforcement would know I was to return within minutes.Furthermore, the phone number given on the ticket for any questions and concerns always go to a pre-recorded message that only provides the email address and PO box to reach the company at. Also, the last time I had emailed them I never received any form of response. There is no way to locate the company offices either. These people are impossible to reach.Desired Settlement: I want the $17.50 ($15+$2.50 processing fee) I am expected to pay for this ticket either refunded or excused, depending on when the company contacts me again (the rates go up after 48 hours without payment). This is the third questionable ticket they have issued me within the last 3 years (2 within the last month), and I have let their tyranny slide up until now. All I want is this ticket to be excused or refunded, a request that seems altogether reasonable for both parties involved.

To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing the response to the letter dated 10/30/2013 concerning the above referenced complaint.

Please note the following facts:

Mr. [redacted] stated left his car illegally parked at [redacted] & he left his headlights so

we would know he was going to return within minutes. Having blinking headlights is not an

acceptable substitute for a permit to park a vehicle. The lot is posted for permit parking only and is

randomly monitored. When we locate a vehicle parked illegally due to no visible permit it is ticketed

and or towed. The parking is not enforced by a certain amount of time a vehicle is left unattended it

is enforced by whether or not the vehicle has a permit period. We do not assume the duration an

illegally parked vehicle wifi be left in a parking lot therefore, blinking lights are not given any special

consideration.

I would also like to point out Mr. [redacted] been ticketed in the past in the very same lot so there is no

reason for him to assume he can park on the property at all without a permit displayed.

The parking ticket will neither be refunded nor excused but, Mr. [redacted] will not be charged any late

fees due to his dispute. The total owed for ticket#[redacted] will be $15.00 & he may pay by mailing a

check to avoid the processing fee. If Mr. [redacted] chooses to pay online there will be a $2.50

processing fee.
