Review: I WENT TO A RESTAURANT DON COQUI IN QUEENS FOR A FAMILY MEMBERS BDAY. I PARKED IN THEIR VALET PARKING AND PAID $10 FOR VALET

I RECEIVED MY CAR BACK WITH YELLOW SCRATCHES AND DENTS. THEY ARE DENYING THAT THEY DAMAGED MY CAR EVEN THOUGH I SENT PICTURES OF THEIR PARKING LOT THAT HAS YELLOW PILLARS THAT MATCH THE YELLOW SCRATCHES ON MY CAR AND YELLOW DENTS IT LEFT ON IT. I HAVE CALLED SEVERAL TIMES AND SPOKEN TO A DAVID AND A CYNTHIS FOR MY CLAIM [redacted] TO BE REVIEWED AGAIN AND FOR MY REPAIRS TO BE PAID. I WAS TOLD TODAY THAT THEY ARE NOT REVIEWING MY CLAIM THAT IT WAS ALREADY DENIED AND THAT THE VALET SAID THEY DIDNT DO IT. I HAVE PICTURES THAT SHOW IT WAS DONE IN THE PARKING LOT, THE RESTAURANT MANAGER TOLD ME THIS HAPPENS THERE ALL THE TIME IT HAS EVEN HAPPENED TO HIS CAR BCUS THE VALET IS OVER CROWDED AND THEY SQUISH THE CARS TIGHT.

THIS BUSINESS WANTS ME TO GO THROUGH MY INSURANCE WHEN I SHOULDNT HAVE TO GO THRU MY INSUIRANCE THIS IS THEIR FAULT AND I DID NOTHING WRONG TO HAVE TO PAY A $1000 MDEDUCTIBLE FOR SOMETHING I DIDNT DO.

I HAVE BEEN CALLING THIS PLACE SINCE APRIL AND NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE, NOW O HAVE TO GO TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT TO SE IF THIS CAN BE SETTLED WHEN I DONT EVEN SEE THE NEED FOR THIS. JUST PAY FOR THE DAMAGES AND OWN WHAT YOU DID THATS ALL.

THIS IS RIDICULOUS I EVEN TOLD THEM I WOULD GO TO THEIR REPAIR SHOP IF THEY WANTED ITS NOT A PROBLEM AS LONG AS THEY FIX WHAT HAPPENED AT THEIR VALETDesired Settlement: I JUST WANT MY DAMAGES ON MY CAR THAT WERE DONE BY THIS VALET PARKING SERVICE TO BE PAID THATS ALL I WANT.

I JUST PURCHASED THIS CAR ITS NEW AND I VALET THINKING MY CAR WOULD BE SAFE INSTEAD OF PARKING OUTSIDE.

THE VALET GUY DAMAGED MY CAR. I HAVE PICTURES TO PROVE THE VALET GARAGE DAMAGED MY CAR. THEY HAVE YELLOW PILLARS WHICH MATCH THE YELLOW PAINT SCRATCHES AND DENTS ON MY CAR

We've contacted Ms.C[redacted] in response to her complaint and offered full settlement for the repairs to her vehicle at one of our authorized repair facilities.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

I just want to say I was very inconvenienced going to a shop that was a 1 hr and 40 train ride home and back to the shop itself. Also my dinner was ruined that night and I was charged for valet... But everything was fixed and this nightmare is over!

Sincerely,

Jaynice C[redacted]

I frequented a restaurant, Cirella's in Melville, this company services with valet parking. The valet backed my car into a telephone pole. I was assured by his supervisor, Jimmy, and subsequently by the office mgr, Mary A**, who handles the claims that my car would be repaired and they would pay for a rental vehicle while it was being repaired. They referred me to their repair facility, Five Star Collision, who did an excellent job. When I called Mary Ann at Parking Claim Service for reimbursement for the rental, she said her boss paid the repair bill even though he thought it was too much (again, this was the shop he said I had to use for the repairs) and then refused to pay me the $130 I was charged for the rental. Mary Ann said they only pay $35/day and I was charged $32.99/day with the vendor, [redacted], that they use. Now I have to involve a lawyer and the restaurant to get my money back. I'd suggest you park your own car if you frequent a business that utilizes their valet service.

Review: Parking Systems was hired for a private event in [redacted] on June **, 2014. An employee of Parking Systems was involved in a motor vehicle accident with a guest's vehicle leading to structural damage to my retaining wall and fence. We filed a claim under the guest's automobile policy, but was told that liability for the loss should be under the policy for Parking Systems. We have provided an estimate and copy of the police report to Parking Systems, but they state it is not their problem and refuse to respond to us. We also enlisted the help of our insurance broker and Parking Systems is also avoiding them. The damage is approximately $6,000 and below our homeowners insurance deductible, so our only choice is to pursue Parking Systems directly.Desired Settlement: We are seeking payment of our damage estimate, or at the very least, a copy of their insurance declarations so we can deal with their insurance company directly. We have been ignored for months.

Review: I have been parking my car at the Parking System lot for a monthly rate of $62.00 for a year. I reported to management and the corporate office of damages to my vehicle sustained the 1st week of September 2014. Management claims they are not liable for damages to my vehicle because I "self-park" my car. The damages to my vehicle were in fact due to the overcrowding at the parking facility which the Parking lot operators and owners allow for their profit, and not due to fault of my own. I pay a monthly fee to park my car at their privately-owned lot, and expect minimal protection of my vehicle from damages while at their facility. They negligently allow over crowing, and cars to park in non-parking spots resulting in vehicles colliding with one another and causing property damages, which was my case.

They claim they have no bailment agreement with me, but in fact that can be contested, given that I pay a monthly fee (rent) to park my vehicle at their lot which is under surveillance and manned by personal. This is a privately owned lot which rents out spots to daily and monthly users. They have the responsibility to provide minimal protection to my vehicle while it is under their supervision and property; which they are now refusing to honour.Desired Settlement: I'm request that they pay for the damages to my car - and honour their responsibilty to my car while at their property.

Sincerely yours,

Review: On July [redacted] I went to [redacted] Restaurant in Bay shore N.Y. My car was parked by a valet from Parking Systems Valet Service. When I was leaving the restaurant I handed my ticket to the valet attendant. He proceeded to get my car I watched as he hit fifty five gallon drum and dented and scratched my 2 month old 2015 Nissan Murano. The Valet knew he hit my car apologized profusely. He then called his boss. I went inside to get the manager Mike. Everyone assured us my car would be fixed.I called Parking Systems on July ** and spoke to Mark he told me that Cynthia would be in touch with me. She called me back that day . She the told me that she would send me their form to put in the claim and it would tell me what information I needed to send. I sent Parking Systems all the information they wanted. I sent them the estimate to fix the damages done by their employee. The damages amounted to $1968.91. I sent it all notorized Parking Systems then sent their adjuster on Aug * 2015 he said the damages amounted to $1165.11. I got another estimate from MidIsland Collision, this shop wanted even more money to fix my car. I spoke to Cynthia who is in charge of claims, I then spoke to Mark he passed me to Ron S[redacted]. Ron wanted us to go to their personal shop. We went, this shop owner will fix the car for any price they give him. He told us how he would fix our car It would not be fixed any way the other two shops said they would. The man's shop doesn't have a sign, doesn't have any reviews I did not feel comfortable to bring my BRAND NEW CAR to just some random person All I was looking for is my car to be repaired and to be repaired RIGHT. After 2 months of going back and forth Parking Systems sent me a release to accept what they decided would be the price to fix my car!!!! My car cannot be fixed by any of the shops I brought it to for the amount of money they want to pay. I cannot believe that I am being penalized for damages done to my car by THEIR VALETT DRIVER. All I want is that my car to be fixed and fixed properly!! I do not want it to be fixed by someone who is going to do the job at what price Parking Systems decides and not a body shop without a sign etc. I do not know anyone who used THEIR body shop and there aren't any reviews or any other information about the shop, they want my car to be fixed at. I didn't realize that when an employee of a company damages a vehicle it would be their way or no way. Again I just want my car fixed and fixed by any shop that has a sign, reviews, etc.Desired Settlement: I hope that the Revdex.com will help me have my car fixed by a reputable body shop like [redacted]

Tell us why here...In response to the complaintof [redacted], ID # [redacted] Parking Systems feels that we handled this matter in a professional manner. We did send this gentleman to a reputable shop to have repairs; we are sorry that it did not meet his standards. We can certainly select another shop from the many licensed, registered repair shops our company deals with on a regular basis. When we were informed that the shop we recommended was not acceptable to them, we had our insurance company send out their licensed appraiser, Rossi Appraisers, who estimated the repair, in their expert opinion, to be $1,165. We have offered that amount in full monetary settlement. At this time we have made all fair offers to resolve this unfortunate incident. If there is any additional information required, please do not hesitate to contact us. It is always in our best interest to try to settle any issues amicably.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because Parking System's valet damaged my car!! After Parking Systems received this complaint I then received a letter and a release form for the amount that THEIR appraiser sent. Their appraiser based his estimate on an hourly rate of $40.00 an hour for labor. Based on my other written ESTIMATES I received that is not TODAYS hourly rate for body shops. Body shops today charge between $50 to $75 per hour for labor. I also spoke to other body shops and they told me $40 an hour were 1990 rates. As far as THEIR body shop that we took our car to. The gentleman was not going to do the job as per my other estimates. WHY would I bring my car to a BODY SHOP of Parking Systems choice when they are going to cut corners in order to do the job for the amount that THEIR appraiser estimated. I have a brand new car, that on July [redacted], when this accident occurred, to a shop that is going to do the job as cheaply as possible. I still do not understand WHY I can not bring my car to a reputable body shop that anyone can check out!! I did not cause this accident!!! Parking Systems employee DID!! I am not looking for anything else but to have my vehicle fixed and fixed properly!!! I am not looking to go to whomever Parking Systems recommends in order to do the job at the price they believe is correct. Common sense tells me YES they will have a shop fix my car of their choosing, at the price they want and do the job as I was told not anyway the two shops I went to would do the job. No one in today's world would do this job properly at the hourly rate THEIR appraiser quoted. All I want is my vehicle fixed and Parking Systems step up and pay the body shop OF MY CHOICE directly what the JOB COSTS!

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Business

Response:

We have further reviewed this claim and we are doing everything possible to try to resolve this amicably. Based on their latest request, Parking Systems will increase the hourly rate that our insurance company offered from $40 to $50 per hour, thereby increasing the estimate and binging the total estimated cost of repair up by $248.75, and making the total estimated amount, rounded up to the nearest 50, up to $1,450.?

Review: My vehicle was struck by valet from this company while at [redacted] restaurant while parked in lot causing significant damage and they offered 1000.00 of the 2000.00 estimates cost of repairs not including the meal I lost with family while filling out police report for 45 mins and not including car rental for time vehicle will be in shop. Called Cynthia and very rude and unhelpful, just stated thats it, too bad. Called back to file to get address in order to file claim with court as they only show PO Box on all correspondence and she stated they do not give that out which tells me they are trying ti hide from civil actions.Desired Settlement: Would like the full costs of repair to vehicle by shop that I have estimates in a timely fashion.

Business

Response:

Tell us why here...We are not denying responsibility for this claim. Parking Systems’ Claims Services tried to settle this matter in good faith. We offered to fix the damage and guarantee the work at a local, licensed and registered body shop near to his home, or we offered$1,060 as per a licensed appraiser’s assessment of the damage. This offer is still available for the claimant to resolve this matter. We hope that you can assist us in settling this matter.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Sorry didnt know how to reply to answer response from Parking Systems. Their answer is unsatisfactory as they did not identify "licensed appraiser" nor provide documents as to his assessment. I have several estimates from licensed auto body shops that are similar in price. This "licensed appraiser" either doesnt exist or he is representing Parking Systems and way off on his estimate. Since their appraiser is so far off on his estimate in no way would I trust any body shop affiliated with them to repair my vehicle as obviously they would cut corners since Parking Systems would pay them half of what a proper repair costs. I filed the complaint after their offer after sending them my documents but they did not send me their documents, so I filed in court with October ** date for trial....Thank you ...[redacted]

Review: on january [redacted] 2015 I used the valet services provided by parking systems at the [redacted] mall [redacted] location, upon receiving my car I immediately noticed a very large scratch that was not originally there when the car was dropped off, it was from the front driver door to the passenger door almost the whole length of the car. after noticing this I spoke with who presented him self to be the [redacted]) he immedially started to scream and told us that the scratch was there without even taking a look at what was being pointed out to him, he continued to tell us that it is simply not his problem and he is the [redacted] and there is no one else to speak to and nothing left to speak about. we sat in the same spot for about 10 minuets until [redacted] came to our car and stated that he was the driver of the car and was not sure if he may have brushed up against something while parking, when [redacted] noticed [redacted] speaking to us he came over and started to scream continually and told us if there was a problem for us to call the cops, so we did the cops arrived about 5 minuets latter, they then told [redacted] to fill out a claim report and give us the companies information. before leaving we measured the white plastic divider that is used to direct the flow of traffic in the lot, and it was the same exact hight and color of the scratch on the car.Desired Settlement: I would like the scratches caused removed or repaired
