This complaint is completely false. To begin, this was never a roof installation problem, it was a rotten siding issue that Mr. [redacted] felt should have been our responsibility, since we did the roof. The wood siding was rotten at the roofline...
& had also been previously sealed with roof cement. While we disagreed with Mr. [redacted], we actually offered to do the exact same repair for free, that he now wants reimbursed $500 for (see attached November 3rd email to Mr. [redacted]). As you can see, we offered to do this repair, but Mr. [redacted] chose to go a different route for unknown reasons. As far as the raised shingles, there are just a couple of shingles that haven't fully relaxed. We did say we would return, however we were planning on doing everything all at once. Since Mr. [redacted] chose to have someone else repair the siding area, we will get out to take care of those couple shingles once the weather permits.

I completely disagree with this reply from Advanced. In my original complaint I attached the email string that provided a true picture of their position. They stated in their Nov 3rd email they would come out and address the raised shingles, the weather has been adequate for that and no one has appeared. Regarding the wood siding I have had 2 different companies inspect and agree that the wood is and was in good condition that the DAMAGE was due to carelessness of installation. The offer to repair by Advanced was at their cost not free. based on the fact that they have never returned a call to me in over 3 months I felt in order to have the repairs completed before inclement weather that I needed to have it done by others. I have requested multiple times for the owner to call me and to meet with me, this has fallen on deaf ears. They sent someone out one time only to say they can not make a decision and that they would speak to the owner who has never attempted to call me. I can both realtors who have tried to resolve and as previously mention 2 other professional contractors provide the same conclusion.

I did receive a call from [redacted] the owner yesterday, he did leave a message his caller ID is blocked so I do not answer blocked calls. He left a message and no return number to call. I Advanced now states they would have done this at no cost to me, this was not stated before. The communication has been terrible, the follow up from Advanced has been terrible. I am offended that the statement is made that I refuse to call and want to email. I have requested in writing multiple times that someone call me no preferably meet at the house to review the damages. This has never happened in over 3 months. I would like to be reimbursed for the repair due to their negligence.

The November 3rd email speaks for itself. We aren't making things up. We offered to do the repair & it's in writing in the email. As far as follow-up, we have been following-up. Mr. [redacted] has our number if he wanted to call back, but he doesn't. Our number is on our paperwork, in our emails & listed on this site. The only communication we get back from Mr. [redacted] is through email & now this complaint. While disputed, We offered to do the repair to settle the matter 6 weeks ago. We would be willing to reimburse what our cost would have been, since Mr. [redacted] chose to have somebody else do the job.
