I am rejecting this response because: I have token a...

screenshot and attached the last emails. I was the last person that contacted them. This has been ongoing for almost a year. They have done nothing but take up our time and psychological drain us with their manipulating dishonest unethical business practices. They are suppose to be running funeral home under ethical business practices under Maryland State law. They are running it like car dealership. Even when they became aware of their "superstar salesperson" lying and discriminating to increase her sales commission they do nothing to rectify the situation. If anything they basically condoned the salesperson behavior by the "best offer" after meeting to resolve issue being worst than the "promo" we were discriminated against by their superstar salesperson, so she can push more lots, more commission.
Instead of being ashamed they insult me and my time with an offer worst then what we are entitled to legally.
We were not and are not buying a car, and this definitely isn't a TV show, lets make a deal. They can respond to my last email with an offer that shows some humility, shame, and regret for the way my mother and I were treated AND all this unnecessary time wasted and psychological drainage, then we can resolve. And that definitely doesn't mean what we are already legally entitled too and were bluntly discriminated against. Some kind of assurance they will think twice when their next grieving victim walks threw their door.
If you provide an email address I would be more than happy to forward you all the emails.
Regards,
[redacted]

Review: -violation of the Code of Ethics and Professional Standards is set forth in COMAR

09.34.04.00 by unfair, unscrupulous, and unethical practices; salesperson untruthful

numerous occasions of cemetery regulations (must purchase entire Block (3 lots) in the

area purchased) and running promos.

On 10/5/2013 my mother brought a potential customer to Parklawn. They were not

successful in haggling my mother's friend. Using the pressure technique of "missing

another promo" they were successful in coning my broken hearted mother to sign a

contract for 2 lots. [redacted] told my mother she can cancel contract in three days if she

goes home and check not feasible to finances.

I previously had attempted to pre plan for my mother as a surprise but was unsuccessful

because of the same issues. On the contract for my father. my contact info. email and

phone number is entered. [redacted] had attempted to contact mv grieving mother cell phone

to inform of promo 25% off single lot at 0% for 5 years at $6,995 less than one month

since my father passed. In the beginning June I contacted [redacted] and expressed my

interest in surprising my mother because she mentioned what's keeping her going is

maybe being able to lay next to my father again one day. My father was buried on

5/12l13. He said he had contacted my mother about 25% promo off that was not currently

available. At that point I was upset and not happy that I was not informed when my

contact info was listed in contract. not my mothers. and I didn't even want my mother

burdened with lot promos when it was not even one month since mv father's passing and

they were contacting her with death options. He said he will talk to management to see if

he could honor that promo because of confusion. Multiple emails and unsuccessful

attempts to make this happen [redacted] said he would put lot on hold and inform me

if another promo like this emerges.

After she comes home and realizing two lots not affordable my mother called Parklawn

to reduce to one lot or to cancel contract completely but [redacted] said must come to see if

cancellation possible. M)' mother and I return to Parklawn on third day to cancel.

[redacted], and my mother and I met in a room. We explained we want to cancel contract

or want just one lot at the promo option, which was 15 % off and 0% financing for 5

years. [redacted] repeats multiple times saving she never told my mother that she can cancel within three days. At that time I was not aware that this was a state law. In front of [redacted], gentleman who sold us fathers plot, [redacted] said cemetery regulations are that we must purchase entire Block (3 lots) in the area were my father was buried and that promo is only valid if we purchase them both. At this point [redacted] apologized for his mistake not

being aware of company regulation because he was new at the time my father passed. I guess this lying act they put on was part of the show and part of the training. Another attempt to resolve this matter at meeting with upper management confirmed that this is not cemetery regulations anywhere in cemetery and at the time my mother signed contract to pre plan plot the running promo was I5% off, 0% financing for 5 years off single plot. At that meeting it became completely evident to upper management that this was deceitful attempt to pressure and con grieving widow to purchase more plots! My mother addressed why [redacted] never told us about double depth option. He at that point became aware of this burial option and apologized again profusely. At that point I told [redacted] it is not our fault that their employee was not trained or aware of their regulations. They are legally inclined to disclose our options and this information before contract was signed and before burial had commenced. We were not informed we had to buy entire Block or double depth option. Just as they had no problem selling single plot before, we should be able to purchase single plot at promo offered. She agreed and said she will contact upper management and make it happen. She then continued telling my mother and I how she was married to [redacted] gentleman who was away. One thing she misses [redacted] cheese and can't find anywhere. Being the kind hearted women my mother is. She purchased the cheese and had me deliver to her. Waiting for months for this promise contract and not returning calls and avoiding contact and denying multiple requests to speak to upper management. Saying manager does not want to speak to you he is going through a lot. At one point saying there is no manager.

-Discriminated against, lying about available promo and allowing her to purchase actual running promo

- fake promos and lying about promos to increase revenue

-I purchased their most expensive plot for top service and to make this as comfortable as possible for mom. They have made this entire experience miserable an extra stressor for us. To the point she cringes visiting my dad because the deception she has encountered, instead of feeling ease and comfort. These unethical business practices making it impossible to pre-plan for us to put all this behind us to move on. Taking advantage because knowledge of our practicing religion not allowing us to dig up the buried, not making it possible to move my father from the car dealership they are claiming to be cemetery, taking advantage of my mother wanting to lay next to mv father someday. Thanks to these unethical practices they have destroyed all my efforts. time, and money to keep my mother at ease and made the sudden death of mv 67 year old father more horrid.

09.34.04.03 violated General Professional Practices 1) Act in a manner that respects and

protects the dignity of the decedent and the decedent's family 2) Conduct business in a

reasonable. usual. and customary manner

9.34.04.04 1)Maintain cemetery, grounds and strictures in reasonable condition

(purchaser not responsible for doing quality assessment. and when informed shouldn't

took months to repair. what if pre-planned and I was dead !! First my mother and I

informed them that grave lower on one side. They said had to settle for 6 months. After 6

months nothing was done. Then a circular deep hole appeared which we informed but

nothing was done till my emotional draining email was also cc to **. [redacted], Executive DIrector of Office of Cemetery Oversight. Next day finally after alllll this time contacted b), upper management. These are all items/

promises entailed as part of their "Professional Service Charge " Agreement. Maintaining

TRAINED QUALIFIED staff during business hours. refilling and reseeding grave. etc.

NOTICE to PURCHASER Violation (d): We were not given option or even informed

orally of space being purchased for my father entailed double-depth interment burial

option before father was buried. When mother took her friend to purchase space it was

brought to her attention that this more economically feasible possibility that we were not

informed of. Religion will not allow us to rectify these mistakes as we can dig up the

buried.

The contract disclosures are not even filled out correctly. For example my father was

buried on Sunday not Saturday and we were never disclosed any of this information.

Lot and space was not indicated on 10-5-13 contract.Desired Settlement: At this point I personally do not think that a cemetery who requires specialized licensure to practice ethical business practices and accommodate families that has done the complete opposite. caused more grief and stressors. and continuously attempted to deceive my grieving mother and I with fake promos. just to increase their profit, deserves $1 from us for us to pre plan arrangements. Keep in mind this is their "superstar salesperson". I'm sure this is not the first time or will be the last time they utilize these unethical business practices if this is not addressed. Although I am hopeful that Revdex.com can resolve this in fair manner and allow my mother and I to move on unjust and unethical business practices, but due to multiple unsuccessful attempts to resolve this matter and upper management lack of remorse and evident neglect for these recurring unethical business practices indicating advocating untruthful employees practices and further allowance of escalation of this situation seems only option is resolution by court for fair just conclusion, draining more time and energy out of us. For some of us integrity is priceless!
