I recently made a second auto insurance policy for my brother through this company. They were supposed to remove him from my policy therefore reducing my bill, However they never done so. Once it was time for my payment I called in inly to discover my bill had never decreased so confused I contacted my local agency immediately. They pushed me off onto the company call center where I spoke with several representatives who all gave me a different resolution. After the issue was still not resolved I reached back out to my local office where I was treated rudely and hung up on! I went on to explain that they had of done their job to remove my brother they would have known about the policy rules of one customer per household! I would have then been prepared to pay the total due and not what I was told I would owe after removing him!Account_Number: XXXXXXXXXXDesired SettlementI feel that they should adjust my bill being that I was unaware of him still being apart of my policy and I was told by several people he was removed and my bill would drop tremendously. I do not have an issue finding him as well as myself insurance elsewhere after the matter is resolved!Business Response Ms. [redacted] purchased a [redacted] auto policy with my agency on 12/9/2015. During the time of the auto application it was discovered her brother and mother were also in her household. [redacted] requested they provide proof of insurance so they would not be added to the policy. We received verification on the mothers insurance and later found that brother[redacted] was uninsured. When the insurance verification could not be provided for [redacted] added him to Ms. [redacted]'s policy. We explained to her that once he purchased his own insurance and could provide evidence, [redacted] would remove him from her policy. Trying to help Ms. [redacted] with her increased premium, my staff suggested writing brother Donald a separate [redacted] policy. [redacted] would not accept having two policies in the same household, so the attempt my staff made to assist Ms. [redacted] was not acceptable. The only way to reduce Ms. [redacted]'s premium is for us to be able to provide evidence of insurance for her brother [redacted] Consumer Response They company waited two weeks and when my bill was due before they let me know that he could not have his own policy and could not be removed. If they had of done their job to remove him they could have informed me sooner about the policy but they didn't so their job as they should have! Final Business Response We are unable to assist the customer any further until she signs the documentation sent and provides us with documentation showing her brother has insurance coverage. We have spoken with Titan on her behalf and they will not process any changes with signatures and documentation.
