This establishment is FANTASTIC! Absolutely each person employed here AND the owner are top notch, extremely helpful, and very nice!
My husband and I (with our service dog in tow as well) were traveling from the East Coast back to base on the West Coast, after his leave time was up. Once we reached Madison, WI, a part on our vehicle broke, causing it to over heat quickly each time we would start to drive.
We were able to find Parks Automotive, via our GPS, and drive there. Once there, the mechanics were so very nice! It was a VERY hot day, and these gentleman made a really stressful situation-EASIER & BEARABLE!
One of the mechanics drove us AND our huge dog in his pickup truck into downtown Madison to retrieve a rental car, he waited for us (smile on his face and pleasant the whole time) until we were able to find out what was going on with the rental. (Needless to say the rental agency infuriated my husband and I). The mechanic then drove us to Madison Airport,(Yes! He then actually drove us to the airport!)
He made me feel so much easier, especially because I was worried about the dog shedding hair in his nice truck! (She was nervous and stressed) he laughed it off and said, " Do not worry about that at all! I have a pet, and I always clean this truck- it is really okay!". Just amazing to me! Amazingly kind!!!!
Needless to say, the rental company sent us on a wild goose chase for a vehicle that was supposed to be at their original location and ready for pick up!
The mechanic was still kind, pleasant and understanding, and made us laugh the whole time.
We finally ended up securing a rental car (after a long crazy ordeal more), and the mechanic returned to work, we went back after hours to Parks Automotive to retrieve our things from our vehicle- the guys came in to open up so we could transfer things to the rental and be able to get home to WA state in time for my husband to report back to duty! How kind was that of these guys???!!! Wow! TOP RATE GENTLEMAN ALL OF THEM!!!
Not only did the owner and the guys help us (and our dog), but they made sure that our vehicle was kept locked and safe on their premises, let us ship our part (because they did not have it understandably, and it would take a while to get), fixed the car AND have shown compassion, and understabding as well as extreme patience, due to the fact that retrieving the vehicle from their premises obviously takes a bit of time since my husband has to get approved for leave to travel back East for the vehicle. NOT ONCE, has [redacted] or his employees/colleagues made us feel in any way other than like family! Really! He treated us like we were old friends or family.
The respect and kindness these men showed to my husband and I, is amazing! It touched my heart to know that in a very crazy, stressful, situation, there were people with hearts of gold, that bent over backwards to help us out!
I truly rate this business with A+++++!
