I was misled me and my husband to sign a piece of paper wit no amounts by the master of this institution in the coral springs office . like any parents we were excited to enroll our son in a tae-k-kwon-do program in this facility and they were withdrawing the monthly amount every month from our checking account . after couple of classes thy inform us at the front office that the master wants to meet me and my husband ( we should known back then there is something cooking there ) . at the meeting the master talked about confidant and culture , etc and at the end he present a black program for my son for over $ 3000 we inform him that we both working and we cant commit to that and we were like to continue with his training as long as we could afford specially he talked about three years commitment which we cant do as my husband work with a company that moved him in the past . he presented a paper and explained that this is a continue to the program that he is in and the amount will not change . the meeting lasted less than 30 minutes and we walked away with no copy of what we signed . one day while my son as practice the girl from the from desk came and explained to me that because the company is growing they gone hire a billing company to take care of the monthly payment ( I said ok , later I found out that they deal with this company already and the knew about it when they made us signed as its listed in the contact that we got to sign ). couple of days ago I get a letter from a collection agency with a balance of over $ 5000 I freaked out I called them and they explained to me that I am responsible for this balance as I signed a three years contract with parks martial arts INC. I was shocked the lady asked me you didn't read the contract I said what contract as I don't have any document to verify any numbers ( she had a copy ) .I was disappointed a master that I am trusting to teach my son values and ethics run his business of scamming middle class parents like that . I requested to speak with him more than once , left message finally they called him at the center as I demand seeing him and he basiclly showed me a contract that he made us signed and it was filled with numbers after our signature was taken .I cant recall seeing 70% of the information and the numbers . when I addressed how I feel and how that we know for fact me and my husband will not agree or sign paper that has $6444 amount on he said you should have read the terms and condition . what terms and condition I was not aware I am signing a contract for three years we could have took it with us home and read it carefully and discuss before we signed . These people are taking advantage of middle class parents like us who is trying to provide some kind of sport activity for their kids. let me add that my son has been attending for a while and he already paid big amount of the $3000 that he is claiming . I am not honored to keep my son as such place managed by people who trick and mislead people like that .
