Parkside Place Apartments wants you to know that we are deeply concerned about all of our residents happiness. Unfortunately, we have had electrical problems in your building that have made you very uncomfortable. We tried to stay in contact with you so that you were aware of the measures that we were taking to correct the problem, and we did offer to temporarily place you in a vacant apartment that had power during the process.
On July 2, 2014 when we spoke, I had been informed that the repair would require a City of [redacted] Permit that could not be obtained over the fourth of July weekend and you told me that you would be going to stay with a cousin, instead of accepting a vacant unit. The power was restored to your building by 7:00 pm on Tuesday July 7 th 2015. You have been credited $195.30 to your account - this is the prorated daily amount of your rent for the first seven days of the month. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.
On July 16,2015 The power went out for your building again due to a line fuse on the top of a light pole, It is believed that the fuse was damaged by the Center Point power outages caused earlier in the month by lightening, our problem was corrected by 6:30 pm, the same day.
The electrical problems that we have been experiencing are not normal for our area, and I do not have any record of your unit losing power from your initial move in date November 2014 up to 7/1/2015. If you feel that the there is an electrical problem specific to your apartment please let me know so that I can bring in the electrician or offer other solutions to make you more comfortable.
