Thank you so much for your letter concerning [redacted]'s account and stay:
1- We had one phone call from [redacted] this weekend and tried to call him back.
2- He stayed at the hotel and his card was correctly charged $478.50

We did not locate a check paid to the hotel to that amount. 4- We do not have any open account for the business mentioned; we won’t be able to accept a check for a non-existent account.
5- We would be able to refund his card only if we have a proof that the check is paid for that account. We will need the copy of the check, front or back, sent to us for investigation.
Furthermore; we understand that there is always a slim possibility of mistake. We will offer [redacted] a free room night stay in addition to the full refund if the error was from our end.

Review: Back in September, I stayed at this business while taking a training course for my job with three other members from my department. We booked two separate rooms with two of us in each room. Our employer gave us a check that covered the full cost of both rooms, which we gave to the business upon checking in. We were each told to present a credit card which I assume is their protocol. A couple weeks later, I noticed that my card had been charged for the full cost of one room. I contacted the business immediately and was told that it would be taken care of. When I checked my credit card statement the next month, the charge was still there. I've called business multiple times and left messages with the manager. He either doesn't check them or is ignoring me. I'm frustrated and fed up! Their mistake is now costing me money. All I want is for this mistake to be corrected.Desired Settlement: I would like them to take the charge off of my credit card and pay back any interest that I have incurred.
