Parkway Chrylser Dodge Jeep Reviews (16)

As per our telephone conversation today at 11:AM, I am following up on the case involving [redacted] We have done everything possible for Mr [redacted] , including trying to trade him out of his vehicle which he was unable to do because of credit limitationsOur service technicians have gone above and beyond to help Mr [redacted] and he has been extremely unreasonable Shortly after buying the vehicle he made the statement to one of the service techs that he never really wanted to buy this car in the first placeHe continues to complain about the vehicle and state that he knows what is wrong with itIt appears to be a case of buyer's remorse and there is no way we can make him happy regardless of what we do to try to please himWe have done everything possible to try to make him happy, as we do for all of our customers, and it doesn't seem possible At this point I feel we have done everything we can to resolve this issue and yet Mr [redacted] continues to complainRegretfully, I feel there is nothing more we can do to appease Mr [redacted] [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Regards, [redacted] I have reviewed parkways response and I will not except such's lies as a responseYes they did fix the brakes but never replaces the bad rotors that we pointed out to themYes they did put new rims on in the front, not like they are sayingThey did put new tires on it, only because they couldn't find out where the pull was coming from and after the time of them not being able to figure it out that's when I was told it was a safety feature in case you fall asleep at the wheelThat's then I got upset and felt insultedI realize roads are crowned for run off but this vehicle was pulling so bad to the right that if I let go of the wheel I was headed for the ditch instantly and had the fight the wheel while drivingAt that point I took my step-father to parkway with me where we brought up the comment about the "safety feature" and the guy said " I know I know I have never heard of it either but that's what they told me!" so my step father is a witness to it as wellWhen we dropped it off that day we told them we didn't want it back until it was fixed because it wasn't safe for my familyIt had pulled so hard to and from Syracuse that I had a migraine when I got home from fighting the wheel and straining my left arm, shoulder, and neckThey then had it for a few days and that's when they put new tires on it, which fixed the pullNever did I take it back again for the pull after that like they are sayingAlso while they had it they didn't look into the whining noise and the rattle it makesThe mechanic road with me the day I took it in as well as the salesmen and one said it sounds like the Transmission and the mechanic said no because he put it into natural driving down the road (with me in it) and the noise was still there and he said it sounded like a motor issueNow I could go on and on but the point is that these things were never looked into or FIXED and they say they made the repairs to that vehicleNow if that's the case why is there a pulley sitting in there shop somewhere that they said they ordered for my jeep because they said that could be whats making all the noises in the front? And when I called them recently to ask why they haven't called me to get it in to be fixed they told me " I am being told by management that there has been a complaint to the Revdex.com and that we can no longer service that vehicleWell in there response it says they fixed my jeep and that is extremely untrue because they are still holding parts to what they thought was the problem and now refuse to work on it!! They shouldn't be ashamed of themselves for such lies and horrible service to there community family's! We try to keep our business local and keep StLawrence county operating and this is how we get treatedPoint is the Jeep was not and is till not fixed! Thank You, [redacted]

I received a call from Mr*** *** telling me that he had his car at S and S auto sales in Malone NY and was told his vehicle needed a heater coreI explained that we would need to look at the vehicle first before we could order partsHe recommended calling S and S and talking to them about
the issueWhen I called S and S I talked to their service manager who told me that the vehicle had never been in their shop before*** had just stopped in to have them look at it because of an antifreeze smell in the vehicleS and S had a tech sit in the car and see if he could smell anythingThe tech there told him he would suggest that *** make an appointment at a Dodge dealer to look into the issueS and S did NOT perform any type of diagnosis for issueMr*** *** made his first visit to us on 10/27/for his dodge dartAt that time he had three concerns with the vehicleHe stated that hecould smell coolant on the inside of the vehicleMy tech test drove vehicle and found that the upper radiator hose clamp was leaking and causing the coolant smell inside of the vehicleTech replaced clamp and then test drove vehicleThere was no drop in coolant level and tech couldn't smell coolant at that timeThe second issue was that on cold start ups the transmission clunks while going into driveTech drove vehicle and couldn't duplicate the customers concernThe third complaint was that when going on and off the gas the vehicle clunksTech test drove and couldn't duplicate concernHe then picked up vehicleOn 11/29/*** returned for one issueHe stated that he could still smell coolant, and that he had marked the coolant overflow bottle level and the coolant was now lower than the mark was previouslyTech put pressure to the coolant system and found that the pressure soon dropped and was leaking coolantTech found that there were more hose clamps that were faulty causing vehicle to leak coolanttech replaced clamp on lower radiator hose on radiatorTech found other faulty clamps onthe metal tube where lower radiator hose attachesTech added coolant and re pressure tested the systemTech found no drop in pressure and that vehicle was ready to be picked upThe vehicle returned on 12/21/for two issuesThe first was that he could smell coolant inside the vehicleTech then pressurized coolant system and found that the clamp under the coolant overflow bottle was faultytech replaced clamp and then put pressure on cooling system for days and found no drop in pressuretech stated cooling issue was now fixedThe second issue was that the transmission was clunking while shiftingTech went for a ride with customer to see if he could duplicate concern*** couldn't duplicate issue with tech on rideTech then checked vehicle for any stored or active code in vehicle and checked for any active bulletins for issuetech found no codes or bulletins for issueTech recommendscustomer take car and driveI received a call on 12/28/from *** stating that the coolant level had dropped again in the vehicleAt that time I recommended that he take the vehicle to S and S auto in Malone or any other dodge dealer to get a second opinion about the issueMr*** expressed that he wanted to bring it back to Parkway because this is where he bought it fromI made an appointment for him over the phone for 1/9/Since there was about weeks until the appointment I stressed again that I think he should get a second opinion and I was told he would just bring it here insteadOn 1/9/Mr*** dropped car off with three concernsThe first concern was that the vehicle was leaking coolantTech pressurized coolant system and found vehicle was leaking coolantTech found two clamps on heater hose that were leakingTech installed two new clamps and also double checked all other clamps for cooling systemTech also found that the coolant over flow cap was very hard to twist on and offTech found that threads on cap were cross threaded and he recommended new capTech installednew cap and then pressurized cooling system after going for a ride to have system hotTech left pressure on vehicle for one night and found no pressure drop in the morning.Tech then drove vehicle again and then re-pressurized systemVehicle was pressurized for the whole weekend and on Monday morning it still hadn't dropTech stated there were no issues with cooling systemThe second issue was that the transmission clunks and feels like it slipsTech went for a ride with customer and was able to feel what the customer had for a complaintTech stated that while driving through town(30-MPH) when you would be slowing down for traffic or fora stop light, the vehicle would start to shift into a lower gear and when that would happen *** would then hit the gas and cause the transmission to shift hardTech stated this issue was because of how *** drove the vehicle and that he was trying tocause the issue rather than just driving normal. When tech and *** returned just the tech took the vehicle for a drive and could only replicate concern if he did exactly what *** had done on the previous rideTech sated under driving conditions there was no issues with transmissionTech also checked again for any stored/active codes or bulletins, tech found no issues at this timeThe third concern was that the headlights and turn signals don't come on or flash when you unlock/lock the vehicle, tech went into the pcm of vehicle and turned the light function back onTech tested and stated that the lights now came on when you lock o run lock the vehicleTech found no issues and recommends customer come and take vehicleCustomer was also supplied a new rental car through enterprise on every one of his visits, the rental was paid for by dodge warranty and for anytime that the rental wentover the day allowance Parkway Auto Group then paid for the remaining rental chargesWe have done everything possible to resolve this matter and we believe it is closed satisfactory

This letter is in response to *** ***'s claimOn 4/27/*** brought her Jeep Compass in for serviceA Parkway technician drove the Jeep Compass to Verify all the concernsThe technician addressed all the problems, replaced the left rear brake pads and lubed the slides
As for the vehicle pulling to the right the technician replaced all the rims and tires with brand new rims and tires and had the vehicle alignedThe technician drove the vehicle after the repairs were made and verified the vehicle was working properlyOn 6/5/*** brought her Jeep Compass back for service stating it was still pulling to the right, there was a rattle in the front and squeak in the rear of the vehicleThe technician replaced the rear dog bone, lubed the sway bar bushings, tightened the engine shield and had another alignment done to the vehicleAfter the repairs were made the technician drove the vehicle and found it to be in good working orderThe roads are crowned to allow runoff, so if you were to take your hands off the wheel your vehicle while driving, it is natural for the vehicle to drift to the rightAt no time was she told that this was a safety feature

Revdex.com:
I did notify Parkway of the tire issue within just business days of thr purchase dateI spoke to a salesman named Fred who "assured" me that the tires were brand new and that the man who inspected my vehicle is completely credible and would "not have risked his license" to just simply passHe didn't offer other alternatives and pretty much brushed it off like I was lyingNeedless to say, I got different opinions and I spent $on brand new tires
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[redacted] in regards to MR [redacted] letter he was
not there that night, but my girl friend was (Valerie) and 1 other sales
man ( I do not remember his name ) because Jeff was late for an
appointment. And as far as [redacted] goes and I quote  [redacted] federal
credit union explains they’re  paperwork very thoroughly with they're
customers( they explained the loan to me and that was how much I was
burrowing and the pay back terms not what the perches agreement was.
Besides why would Jeff give me running boards and then tell me that he
was ordering, remote start, front floor mates and electric brake
controller. I should have listened to the salesman uncle and that I
should not trust him that he would try to screw me and my thought was
this is the second new  car that I have purchased at parkway in less the
a year he wouldn’t do that man I was wrong. I am also sending you the
text message that was sent to me and the perches agreement that was give
to me  also no were in the paper work from [redacted] does show what
parkway allowed for my trade in  Is my next step small claims court ?  [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.  I brought my vehicle in to s&s auto, I have all the work orders if you would like them? I just need a fax number. s&s did not say they did not perform any type of diagnosis for my issue, they said they where busy and they where doing a head job and would be a few months befor they could get me in because there was only one tec that can do them type of jobs and was doing a head job. Parkway said in there reply to the Revdex.com that they could not smell coolent at the time, they are liying to you, you can smell it all the time while the vehicle is operating at normal temperature and still to this day I can smell coolent. I was never told to bring my car to another dealer to get a second opinion! Further more its been to three dealers, s&s, parkway dodge and park way Chevy. I was never told about the threads on my cao that they where cross threaded! Parkway dodgr or parkway chevy cross threaded my cap! It states that tech went for a ride with me ([redacted]) and was able to feel what the customer had for a complaint and statrd that I drove the vehicle and that I was trying to cause the issue rather then just drive normal. If you just put your pinky toe on the gas pedal you can still feel it a little amd when you drive NORMAL you feel the transmission slipping. Parkway liyed they said I was supplied a new rental car through enterprise on every visit, they gavr me there own 2008 junk jeep for the first two times and the third time when I called I said it better get fixed this time or im calling the Revdex.com then the last two times they got me enterprise and it never went over the ten days, the most was ten days but never went over, it shouldn't take parkway dodge or parkway chevy that many days to find bad hose clamps they should of found the issue the first time. I would like parkwat to pay off my car and give me what I have payed on the car or a really good deal on a new car and give me the max for trade in on my junk. I dont want this lemon any more please get me out if the car and away from ot befor it hurts my daughter, girlfriend, new born babby or me. Please and thank you.  Regards,  [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.  Regards,[redacted]  I have reviewed parkways response and I will not except such's lies as a response. Yes they did fix the brakes but never replaces the bad rotors that we pointed out to them. Yes they did put 2 new rims on in the front, not 4 like they are saying. They did put new tires on it, only because they couldn't find out where the pull was coming from and after the 3 time of them not being able to figure it out that's when I was told it was a safety feature in case you fall asleep at the wheel. That's then I got upset and felt insulted. I realize roads are crowned for run off but this vehicle was pulling so bad to the right that if I let go of the wheel I was headed for the ditch instantly and had the fight the wheel while driving. At that point I took my step-father to parkway with me where we brought up the comment about the "safety feature" and the guy said " I know I know I have never heard of it either but that's what they told me!" so my step father is a witness to it as well. When we dropped it off that day we told them we didn't want it back until it was fixed because it wasn't safe for my family. It had pulled so hard to and from Syracuse that I had a migraine when I got home from fighting the wheel and straining my left arm, shoulder, and neck. They then had it for a few days and that's when they put new tires on it, which fixed the pull. Never did I take it back again for the pull after that like they are saying. Also while they had it they didn't look into the whining noise and the rattle it makes. The mechanic road with me the day I took it in as well as the salesmen and one said it sounds like the Transmission and the mechanic said no because he put it into natural driving down the road (with me in it) and the noise was still there and he said it sounded like a motor issue. Now I could go on and on but the point is that these things were never looked into or FIXED and they say they made the repairs to that vehicle.. Now if that's the case why is there a pulley sitting in there shop somewhere that they said they ordered for my jeep because they said that could be whats making all the noises in the front? And when I called them recently to ask why they haven't called me to get it in to be fixed they told me " I am being told by management that there has been a complaint to the Revdex.com and that we can no longer service that vehicle. Well in there response it says they fixed my jeep and that is extremely untrue because they are still holding parts to what they thought was the problem and now refuse to work on it!! They shouldn't be ashamed of themselves for such lies and horrible service to there community family's! We try to keep our business local and keep St. Lawrence county operating and this is how we get treated. Point is the Jeep was not and is till not fixed!   Thank You,   [redacted]

I would like a refund of the warranty I purchased through Parkway for $2400(3 year/24,000 warranty) I have brought my vehicle there for transmission issues and after all the problems, nothing has been resolved and they keep charging me labor on top of it for not fixing anything. I do not want to...

have to deal with this company more than I have to and would like the refund to go elsewhere to get my vehicle looked at and serviced.

I will be sending the work orders from s&s auto, I dont really know what I have to type in here, all I know is I dont want this car any more because its a lemon! I want parkway to pay it off and give me what I have payed on it or give me the max dollar amount for a trade in and give me a good deal on a new car..

As per our telephone conversation today at 11:30 AM, I am following up on the case involving [redacted]. We have done everything possible for Mr. [redacted],  including trying to trade him out of his vehicle which he was unable to do because of credit limitations. Our service technicians have gone above and beyond to help Mr. [redacted] and he has been extremely unreasonable.   Shortly after buying the vehicle he made the statement to one of the service techs that he never really wanted to buy this car in the first place. He continues to complain about the vehicle and state that he knows what is wrong with it. It appears to be a case of buyer's remorse and there is no way we can make him happy regardless of what we do to try to please him. We have done everything possible to try to make him happy, as we do for all of our customers, and it doesn't seem possible.  At this point I feel we have done everything we can  to resolve this issue and yet Mr. [redacted] continues to complain. Regretfully, I feel there is nothing more we can do to appease Mr. [redacted]. [redacted]

After careful consideration of this complaint, Parkway Dodge Chrysler Jeep reviewed the details of this account from 11/18/16. The payoff of the customers vehicle was delayed due to a delay in funding in recourse to the holidays. The full payoff check ending in #329 was mailed to the lender [redacted]...

[redacted], via UPS Express on 12/5/16 the 11th business day after the close of sale, in which dealers are given a 15 day grace period. Follow up communication with the customer is in action, and Parkway plans to willingly adhere to the necessary means for customer satisfaction, and communicate any confusion.

Pursuant to (id# [redacted]) Ms. [redacted] tire issue, had she returned to our dealership we could have addressed it. She had a 60 day/ 3000 mile warranty through the New York State limited warranty in addition to a 24 month/ 24000 mile Chrysler added care plus warranty. Tires are not a warranty item. We did however replace her brakes even though she was out of warranty by time and miles. We did this in good faith. We were never contacted by Ms. [redacted] regarding tires, until she notified us that she replaced them. If they failed during the warranty period she should have returned to us.
