Parkway Plaza Apartments

Review: I am a previous tenant of Apartment [redacted]. I am filing a complaint regarding the move out statement I received. My roommate and I were surprised to see the following charges listed: medium cleaning, painting, and drip pan fee. We thoroughly cleaned apartment [redacted] prior to vacating. There were no items left in the apartment. All of the carpets and floors were vacuumed. The vinyl floors were washed with cleaner. The furniture, including end tables, dressers, desks, and nightstands, were all free of dust and debris. The bathroom was cleaned and all soap sm removed. The bathroom cabinets were wiped off and insides wiped out with cleaner. The kitchen was thoroughly clean including wiping down cabinet doors and cleaning inside the cabinets and oven. The stovetop was clean and free of any grease or grime. The refrigerator and freezer were properly wiped out and free of any dust, dirt, or food. The sink was clean and rinsed out. The dishwasher was free of any dirt on the inside and outside. All trash and personal items were removed from the apartment prior to leaving. Everything was cleaned with the proper cleaning supply, such as Pledge for dusting, Lysol for cleaning cabinets, refrigerator, etc. Additionally, all aspects of cleaning were maintained throughout our 12-month stay in Parkway Plaza with weekly cleanings. It is impossible that medium cleaning was necessary after we moved out. We have photographs of the apartment on the day we moved out for our records, and we will be more than happy to present them.On our inspection sheet, we recorded that tape marks, holes, and mold were on the walls on move in day in August 2013. The apartment had not been painted before we moved in, and there was no additional damage caused by us. These prior damages were in no way our responsibility. The final dispute is the cost to replace the drip pans in the stove. There was absolutely no damage done to the drip pans. They were scrubbed before we moved out of the apartment and were free of grease and grime.Desired Settlement: We request for some of the charges to be dropped
