Parlour Soiree

On April 15th 2016, I sent and email to Parlour soiree to rent [redacted] chairs for my wedding in July of She prepared a quote, Quote number ***On April 16, I signed a contract with her for for a chair rentalI e-transferred her dollars ( percent deposit for the rental and a dollar damage deposit) The Invoice number [redacted] confirms payment as wellOn July 25, (months after payment) she sent me an email saying she would not be able to fulfill my contract as she was going out of business and promised to repay me in full July 27, I replied to her asking for a timeline on repayment as we had made the deposit months before this email she sent out announcing she was going out of businessOn July 28th she replied by saying " Hello [redacted] , We understand completely! I booked with this company to rent chairs for my wedding and paid a $(approx) deposit through email money transfer A few months later I received a mass email from her company stating the business was closing and that the contracts were being cancelled and all deposits would be returned That was at least months ago now and I have yet to see a dime OR hear back from [redacted] despite my NUMEROUS attempts at contacting her

The owner of the business, [redacted] , has shut down her business and refuses to honour her existing contracts nor will she refund any deposits put down [redacted]

In Feb 2016, I signed contract [redacted] with Parlour Soiree that outlined [redacted] chair rentals and the use of their Arrangement Bar for our June weddingAt the time of signing, I sent a deposit of $via e-transfer, including a $damage deposit that was to be returned after our wedding so long as there was no damage to the chairs I had requested to pay via ***, however [redacted] stated [redacted] that if we could get an email transfer instead that would be betterOur payment processor just called and stated its unfavourable to take card numbers via the phone due to the security risks as a pose to having the card swiped [redacted] send the deposit via e-transfer within days otherwise she would would not honour the price she quoted me for the chairs, as seen in her February email If we are not able to finalize by 11am tomorrow the agreement we be void and the chair will be at their regular price of $
