Parr 3 Automotive Reviews (4)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.
The new tires were placed on my vehicle in October 2014, prior to the tire rotation made at Parr The amount of time that has passed since he worked on my car is not relevantIf I needed maintenance on my wheels sooner, I would have come in sooner. Attached are receipts of when I had new tires placed on my car, and my receipt from Parr dated November 4, As I already wrote, the the mechanic, *** from *** Automotive, had to reach around the wheel to place front and rear brake pads with all of the other lug nuts removed because he could not take off the wheel due to Parr 3's damageHe can verify thisAttached is his information, as wellThe only maintenance that I had done on my wheels is that of the brake pads which is when *** discovered that the studs had been broken, and the wheel could not be removed due to the damage Parr employees did to my carThis is how I found outParr was called the following dayI did not admit to him only over-tightening the lug nuts in the right front and left rearI told him that the wheels could not be removed since his mechanic put them onWhatever the reason is still their doing*** *** and *** *** did not go above and beyond anything because they repaired what they had broken--partly, that isThis is their responsibilityIf they felt that they did nothing wrong to begin with, they should not have began repairs on the car and then stopped when they found it too difficult.

According to the customer, seven months had passed since our facility rotated and balanced her tires with no previous complaints.  Upon inspection of her vehicle, I, [redacted], manager and co-owner of Parr 3 Automotive, Inc., noticed that the vehicle had new brake...

pads installed on the front and rear of the vehicle and two new tires installed on the front.  It would be impossible to install new tires without removing the wheels from the car and we did not install the new tires.  It would also be impossible to install new brake pads without removing the wheels and we did not perform these services either.  The customer stated in her complaint that these are true facts by mentioning that she had these repairs made elsewhere "after" our services were performed and we supposedly overtightened her lug nuts.  Upon arrival at our facility, the customer stated that she had been told that only the left rear and right front lug nuts were over tightened.  We tighten all of the lug nuts with the exact same tools.  It seems odd that these were the only wheels with broken wheel studs.   Our technicians actually repaired the lug nuts and studs on the left rear and even replaced one stud on the left rear at no charge to the customer.  We made no further repairs to the right front because it was already after 6:00 PM, our closing time.  In my opinion, the customer contradicts herself in her complaint and makes our answer and argument very simple. She makes our case for us.  Repairs had been made to her vehicle after our services were rendered.  The repairs that she admits to having performed by other facilities could not have been made without removing the tires.  I have nearly thirty years of experience in this business and we pride ourselves on our honesty and professionalism.  I also feel that we went above and beyond by making the repairs to the left rear at no charge to the customer.  This is a typical case of a customer wanting something for nothing.  She wanted us to repair someone else's mistakes.          Sincerely, [redacted]   Parr 3 Automotive, Inc.   864-[redacted].
