Disappointing Service, Incompetent Staff: A Plea to Prospective Parris RV Customers
I feel compelled to share my regrettable experience with Parris RV. While they offered a great purchase price, the post-purchase service has been nothing short of a nightmare.

I've had my RV for 15 months, and in that time, it has spent approximately three months at their service center. This has caused significant inconvenience for me as I live full time in my RV. Scheduling appointments is a painfully drawn-out process - my last appointment took 3 months to secure, and I've spent countless hours following up on the service status.

Customer service, which should be the heartbeat of any organization, appears to be of little importance to the Parris RV team. The staff has displayed a consistent lack of courtesy and respect. The service manager, in particular, seems uninterested and unresponsive to customer concerns.

The technical staff's incompetence has been the most disheartening aspect of this experience. Especially when you consider that their labor rates are a hefty $195 per hour. Regrettably, I've found myself having to redo just about everything they've touched. Notably, they've wired my heating system backwards, not once, but twice, and refused to rectify their mistakes.

In summary, if you're merely seeking a good deal on an RV purchase, Parris RV might serve you well. However, I strongly urge you to plan on getting your RV serviced elsewhere, or be prepared for a potentially frustrating, costly, and time-consuming ordeal.

For those of you who may doubt my account, I encourage you to inquire about their service lead times before you make your purchase. You might be surprised, and not in a pleasant way.

Let my experience be a cautionary tale to any potential Parris RV customers.

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:This does not just randomly hapoen to the same customer times on the same trailer Also, when the owner called me explaining that he doesnt have time to deal with "cheap" trailets because those that are looking at them cant afford a real trailer and cant cone up with any mobey was offensive, rude, and not a legitimate excuse for not changing the status on the trailer as sale pending (if it was sold) instead of continuing to advertise to bring in customers with a add.I do not wish to have anymore calls frim this businessMrP [redacted] was condescending and highly offensive in his last callNot only will I never purchase a trailer from this business I will let as many people as I can know not to do bisiness there Sincerely, [redacted]

Parris RV does not practice Bait and Switch This trailer had a deposit taken originally on 12/29/17, that customer changed his mind and on 12/30/customer #1's deposit was refunded and unit was put back on the market Customer #sent in a credit application on January 2, we could not secure financing so it was back on the market again approximately 1/4/ Customer #then put a deposit early on 1/5/and is set to deliver this Thursday 1/11/ With less expensive trailers, we get multiple buyers and the phone calls don't stop The way our software is set up is, until that trailer actually leaves our lot and/or is Paid in FULL, it is "technically" still for sale even with a deposit holding it, BUT we do have to honor those that put deposits AND deposits DO hold the trailer until arrangements can be made to purchase in full It is very unfortunate that this customer just missed it being available times and it wasn't our intention to upset or mislead anyone, each time this customer called or inquired about the trailer it truly was not available for purchase at that time As far as switching him to another unit, our sales people were doing their job trying to match this customer up with another "like" unit since the one in question was not available and again, it is unfortunate that this customer happened to inquire at the wrong times

Roy, Again I am so sorry that the vehicle you were interested had soldAs I tried to explain already it is our goal to sell trailers, not have you upset because you were not able to purchaseWhile you were still negotiating on the trailer that again was not in my inventory the factory sold it to
another dealerThere were two trailers available, one a customer agreed to purchase, gave us a deposit and signed a contract of saleI do know you gave our sales person a credit card number but again because we had not arrived at a price, we never put a deposit on the credit cardAlso we never had a signed agreement with you I wish I could get the trailer and complete the transaction with youIt would be very difficult for our dealership to buy and put on hold every RV that a customer is negotiating onI understand you sent us the money, the only thing I can suggest is before sending the money to a dealership, it would be a good idea to have a purchase agreement and motor vehicle contract of sale and know that the vehicle is available before sending the moneyAgain I'm sorry that the vehicle got soldI also wish this could be changedThank You, Brett ***

Parris RV does not practice Bait and Switch.  This trailer had a deposit taken originally on 12/29/17, that customer changed his mind and on 12/30/17 customer #1's deposit was refunded and unit was put back on the market.  Customer #2 sent in a credit application on January 2, 2018 we...

could not secure financing so it was back on the market again approximately 1/4/2018.  Customer #3 then put a deposit early on 1/5/18 and is set to deliver this Thursday 1/11/2018.  With less expensive trailers, we get multiple buyers and the phone calls don't stop.  The way our software is set up is, until that trailer actually leaves our lot and/or is Paid in FULL, it is "technically" still for sale even with a deposit holding it, BUT we do have to honor those that put deposits AND deposits DO hold the trailer until arrangements can be made to purchase in full.  It is very unfortunate that this customer just missed it being available 3 times and it wasn't our intention to upset or mislead anyone, each time this customer called or inquired about the trailer it truly was not available for purchase at that time.  As far as switching him to another unit, our sales people were doing their job trying to match this customer up with another "like" unit since the one in question was not available and again, it is unfortunate that this customer happened to inquire at the wrong times.

I did call the customer to explain what had happened with the sale of the trailer. He accused me of lying and doing a bait and switch. I tried very hard to explain to him why the trailer had not been delivered to its new owner, by the way the trailer is still here in my inventory and owned by our company because the newest buyer is coming from Colorado tomorrow to pay the balance and take the trailer. Who knows, maybe he will get here and hate the trailer and want his money back which is okay with us. We don't make people take trailers, they would have to want to make the purchase. It's not our fault this person doesn't understand the process of putting a deposit on a vehicle and how its is not completely sold until its paid for and delivered. If you would like to verify this trailer exists you could view it at our location 4360 S. State until it delivers to its new owner. If the Revdex.com would like to see our contract of sale verifying the vehicle and the sale price of $5,000. This is no problem.  This individual is just disappointed that the trailer was sold to someone other than himself. Why start accusing Parris RV of bait and switch and lying? Thanks Brett P[redacted]
