I am rejecting this response because: I have already explained in my complaint that the truck ORIGINALLY ARRIVED TO ME SHIPPED FROM PARRIS TRUCKS WITH THE PROBLEMS listed in my complaintThe problems didn't show up laterThe truck was that way when I got it from Parris TrucksIt took me months and many thousands of dollars to get it close to being in the working condition that Parris Trucks said that it was in when they sold it to meThere are still issues that the truck has had since I received the truck from Parris Trucks with that I still do not yet have the money to fix And, I could not make a trip to the state of Ohio from New York State to look at and test drive the truck before I bought itAs I said before, Parris Trucks took advantage of thatI did contact Parris Trucks via phone and email when I received the truck from them to let them know of all the issues but they said too bad, its "AS IS"

Parris Truck Sales offers all our customers the opportunity to come to our location and inspect all trucks before purchaseThe customer chose not to take advantage of this rightWe thoroughly inspect all our units and make the necessary repairs before the truck is delivered to each customerWe are a used dealer and cannot promise that a used vehicle will not fault or need additional repairs after purchase, as we do not sell new trucks, and with time and use used vehicles need continued maintenanceAs part of the sale of this truck the customer signed an “As Is” agreement which states, “You will pay for all costs for any repairsThe dealer assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle.” This agreement further recommends that the customer ask us (the dealer) if they may have the vehicle inspected by their mechanic either on or off the lotThe customer chose not to have this inspection done, therefore, we were not able to address or resolve any concerns the customer may have had before purchaseThe truck was purchased “As Is” and therefore we are unable to agree to this settlement

As we do with all of our trucks, we thoroughly inspected this unit and took it for a test drive before the truck was delivered to the customerThis truck was running smoothly and everything was in working condition when it left our lotIt passed all our inspections and to the best of our knowledge there were no issues with the truckWe sell over trucks a year and do not receive complaints of this level, as we make sure all trucks are inspected and serviced before they leave our lotThe customer chose willingly not to come out or send an independent mechanic to inspect this vehicle himself before purchase and we did not have the opportunity to address any specific concerns he may have had at that timeThe issues addressed in this complaint were not issues when the truck left our shopAs I previously stated, the truck was running smoothly and everything was in working condition at time of delivery
