I have been coming to this store for a few years, but less and less as the years go by This past year I have been there only once and that was because I got a call about an item that I was on a long wait list for So long that I forgot about the item I noticed an increase in rudeness from the owner which turned me off from shopping there I purchased food there for my parrots as after so many bags (I believe) the next one was free Well when I got to the free bag the product was out of stock so I paid for a few small bags Once those finished I came to claim my free bag and still out of stock which is when I asked if I could have the equivalent in weight of the smaller bags This was quickly denied and when I asked to speak to the owner who was in the bags I got yelled at by the owner who appeared to be very upset that I took her away from the stock room to ask her this question And she further yelled at me stating that it is not profitable for her to offer this and she has no other resolution but for me to continue to wait and buy smaller bags at a higher cost Needless to say I did not get my free bag and have since purchased the food from a different place The stock has dramatically decreased and shelves appear near empty Further, when the owner is away the customer service from the other staff is very poor and product knowledge is almost none existent I was at the front counter to ask a question and had to wait for a couple of minutes while the lady behind the desk fiddled around with stock and fixing magazines basically not acknowledging my presence until I spoke up When I asked about a product (lamp for parrot's for natural light) she knew absolutely nothing about the product and advised me to look up the information on Google She did not make any eye contact while she spoke to me and continued to fix her magazines and stock After asking for her to call for someone else from the back she did but that staff member did not know about the product either, she did however print off some information from the internet for me to take home and read I was then assured by this employee that she would contact the owner and get the required information for me and call me back by the end of the day It has been well over a week and I have not heard back If this way of business continues, I don't foresee this place being in business for very long
