I am rejecting this response because:
The incident occurred at [redacted], but when I attempted to file the complaint about them/the parent company (SDK) the Revdex.com website said they were no longer active in business. The closet related SDK associated complex available through your database was SDK [redacted]. According to the SDK website there corporate office is located at [redacted] NJ 07450. According to the response I received initially from the Revdex.com this company is no longer active.
The application fee was for a personal background check which they refused to release to me or give me any information about why I was rejected. They also provided me with false information about the apartment which is the only reason why I applied in the first place. If they would have given me the truthful information then I would have not applied with the $50 non-refundable fee.
The [redacted] as well as the Corporate office would not return my phone calls and dodged me for weeks. When I finally did speak with them I was told on 3 separate occasions (~5 days apart on each occasion) that they would begin refunding the $500 deposit. They did not actually begin the refunding process until after a letter was sent to them by the Revdex.com on my behalf. The deposit money was eventually returned.
