We are not an ASE certified bike shop nor have we ever advertised as such. We do not advertise anywhere in the shop or online stating anything about being ASE certified. He was well aware of the quality of our mechanics when he brought his bike in for service. As previously stated he had work done on his bike here more than once. He picked up the bike from us on a trailer upon completion of the work. Upon discussions with him we told him that he could bring the bike in for service and we would review the work done as well as the issues he had stated. We asked him about trailering the bike here for service and he stated he couldn’t use the trailer to bring it in. We attempted several times to get him to bring the bike in for the issues he had stated in order to resolve the issue. Parti Animal Cycle prides itself on honoring those who have served our country by offering veteran discounts several times a year. We also strive to maintain the best customer service possible to anyone who enters our business whether the person is handicapped or not. While he was here he never mentioned anything about being confused or concerned with any work being done on his bike. We had several conversations with him while all the work was being done in order to keep him well informed of the issues with his bike as well as the progress being made. He had our phone number and could have contacted us at any point with questions or concerns if he had any. We feel that no refund is due on this issue since the bike was never taken to any shop to verify the issues that he stated with the bike as well as never having the opportunity to review the issues in person with the bike.

[redacted] brought his bike into the shop for repairs as well as install of accessories he purchased from us. He brought the bike into the shop on August 4th 2016. [redacted] purchased and had us install many items on his bike. There is a detailed list attached to this letter as well. He had our shop...

install new tires front and rear, new brake pads front and rear, new headlight and headlight bucket, spot lights, saddle shields, windshield, LED Show lights, as well as install two missing bolts for the rear brake caliper. While working on the bike the mechanics noted several other issues with the bike as well and brought those to the attention of Randy. One issue being the bolt for his windshield which was incorrect and didn’t fit correctly, we offered to drill the bolt hole out and repair the threads however he declined to have us fix it once he heard what it would take and cost to fix the bolt. Upon inspection we noted that the rear brake caliper that was missing bolts wasn’t mounted securely to the bike when he brought it in. [redacted] was informed of issues that arose during the install of all the items. [redacted] picked up his bike from us on August 20th 2016 with no complaints or issues at the time of pickup he stated at the time he was satisfied with all the work that was done on his bike. [redacted] called a total of three times to the shop to address concerns he had with the bike. The first call was in regards to his spot light switch which he stated had gone bad. We offered for him to bring the bike in and we would fix the switch for him with a charge since we did not do any work to that switch during the time the bike was in the service shop. The second call was in regards to an axle cap being loose again we asked him to stop by with the bike and verify if it was loose and if it was loose we would be more than happy to fix the problem for him. [redacted] called a third time to again express his issue with the loose axle cap as well as a headlight pivot bolt that was loose and a spotlight loose. During the time his bike was in the service shop we never adjusted anything with the spotlight mount. Once again we asked [redacted] to bring the bike into the shop in order for us to verify that all of these problems existed and explained we would be happy to fix any issues we found and make the situation right. [redacted] never brought the bike by the shop during any of those three offers and attempts from the shop to fix the situation. [redacted] has not contacted the shop since the last phone call when we offered again to look the bike over and fix anything wrong with it. He never made an attempt to bring the bike into the service shop to have it looked over. [redacted] is well aware that we are an independently owned and operated motorcycle shop and that we are not affiliated with Harley Davidson in any way. [redacted] has had service done by us in the past. Both of our mechanics have many years of experience working on motorcycles one has over 30 years and the other has over 10 years of experience. [redacted] was well aware of all this when he brought his bike in again to us for service. [redacted] is requesting a refund through the Revdex.com from us on this situation, however we were never given the opportunity to visually inspect the bike for any of the issues he had stated. We made several attempts to rectify the situation with him and he never obliged. [redacted] had stated in his statement to the Revdex.com that he finally just got the bike repaired himself, upon further investigation on our part we discovered that he had a couple of friends fix the issues he stated he was having with the bike. We also applied several discounts to items he had purchased from us to install because he was a valued customer and has done a lot of business with us in the past. In closing we feel that we made every valid attempt to rectify the situation with [redacted] and were never given the opportunity by him to fix the situation. Best Regards, Parti Animal Cycle
