Mr***' subscription to Golf was part of an active promotion through [redacted] Home Warranty at the time of a purchase he made with that retailer Notification of this promotion, as well as an "opt-out" option is made available during the check out process on that retailer's website Regarding the magazine title itself- Golf is what was available through the promotion at the time of the [redacted] Home Warranty transaction Every customer who made a purchase with [redacted] Home Warranty during this promotion was offered the same title, and the opportunity to opt out of the gift.Addresses collected by PartnerMags are used exclusively for processing the promotional magazine subscription, and is not shared with any party outside of the publisher for delivery of the gift At no time does PartnerMags "sell" information to additional parties Mr***' subscription was canceled, per his request, on 1/23/ An additional 1-issues may be prescheduled for delivery by the publisher After that, the magazines should stop arriving

I am rejecting this response because:Partner Mags has failed to address the issue that 1: I do not remember being made aware that I was signing up for anything, free or not! Nor 2: that I did/do not want my address (or other "Data") shared by them OR any affiliates, etc. I would also be curious to know why "Golf" was selected, since I certainly would not have picked that if I was aware of any choice

You are correct. The magazine is automatically included with the purchase and you must opt-out. Additionally, you are given the opportunity to receive a rebate for the value of the magazine. We have canceled your wife's subscription. Thanks,[redacted]
