Partners Alliance Corporation is good at taking money for "insurance coverage," but apparently does not pay out in any event.
I was sold GAP coverage when I purchased my car in 2018. One of the selling points was that, in the event I did not have to make a claim while paying off the loan, I would "get (my) money back."
When Honda Financial applied my final payment and marked my loan PAID IN FULL, they sent me info to check on refund of GAP insurance.
Valley Hi Honda in Victorville, CA was very helpful and FAXed the info to Partners Alliance, saying that it would take 4 to 6 weeks for me to receive money due me.
Six weeks came and went, with no correspondence from Partners Alliance, so I checked online. Only to find that even people with such coverage and in need of payment due to loss could not get any service from this bogus outfit!
I emailed everyone on the list at Partners Alliance and received a reply that my coverage had lapsed Aug 18, 2018 and the request was dated after that! I had not even received info regarding making a request by that date!
Horrible, horrible company. I emailed Valley Hi Honda with my issue, and told them they should either stop selling GAP coverage or find an honest, reliable company.
