My Paranoid Story Several years ago my father-in-law passed away, his wife having passed a decade before The estate was not that large and it was a closed chapter for us years ago When I got the initial call from Partners Forensic Auditors about potential “found” money related to my in-law’s estate I was skeptical to say the least, actually I was very paranoid Not because they were in any way unprofessional, they were totally professional, and not because they used any high pressure tactics, because they didn’t I was paranoid that this was some type of scam and that dealing with them would be risky I also felt that had there been anything still connected to the estate I would certainly know about it Well I didn’t I agreed to have them send me the documents they wanted to send, and in the meantime I did my due diligence checking them out Web site is solid, check Better business ratings are solid, check Absolutely nothing negative about them online, check Okay, but elaborate scammers could pull this off, my paranoia was reduced by only 10% The documents came and looked okay to me but I’m not a lawyer PFA encouraged me to have a lawyer read things over with me, which I did, and everything was fine There was zero risk to me, zero out of pocket expense to me and, if what they thought they had found turned out not to be real, I would be no worse off than if I had never spoken with them Had I let my paranoia and skepticism get the better of me I would be so very mad at myself today, as the check for the money they found came in today’s mail Start to finish the entire process from initial contact to check in hand was about days and pretty effortless on my part PFA led the entire process, kept me fully updated along the way and proved that they are to be fully trusted I had zero, repeat zero actual risk during the entire process, start to finish and could not be more happy with their work We live in a world of doubt and skepticism because we need to, my experiences tell me to put those concerns aside if PFA reaches out to you
