Review: In June 3, 2013 - I opt out and the Member Service Supervisor said they never received the form. There is an OPT OUT form that the system does not allow for consumer to print but to check a box and submit which I did on that day after being charged a $30.00 because they do not deposit checks when they fall on a Saturday or Sunday. My past experiences have been that if the deposit date falls on a Saturday it would come the day before or if the deposit date falls on a Sunday it would appear on Monday. When it did not happen I OPT-OUT using the on-line form.

On August 1, 2013, I was charged $30.00 fee. I asked [redacted] to reverse the charge because I OPT OUT in June 3, 2013. She denied the request and said that I OPT IN in March 2013 and December 2012. Does not make sense to OPT-IN twice unless I OPT OUT twice which I know I did but she says they don't have the form! I also explained that when a person files a complaint with TPFCU they do not respond. She claims that it is not true.Desired Settlement: The system has a glitch or something that is not my fault. I did what the form asked me to do which was to check the box and submit by clicking the submit button to OPT-OUT. And today, since June 3, 2013 the form still says to OPT-IN because I have already OPT-OUT. I want a reverse $30.00 put back into my account.

I am rejecting this response because: Whether submitting to Opt-In or Opt-Out the form says to click to submit the form(s). Both forms also say to bring the form in. In either case, I have always submitted by clicking the form on-line. The [redacted] - Supervisor said she only got the opt-in forms. As it stood on August 8, 2013, [before [redacted] August 19, 2013, deliberately Opted- Out my account with out consent] the on-line page views as an OPT-IN form. The OPT-IN form has been this way since March 12. 2013. Since June 3rd, 2013 (which fell on a Monday) I had another issue where I was charged a $30.00 on Saturday June 1, 2013.

Please take note that other banks, annuity disability, and social security checks are released on Saturday or Mondays when the first, second or third fails on a Saturday or Sunday. There is no excuse to say we are closed on Saturday June 1, 2013 therefore wait til Monday.

Also, with the OPT-IN or OPT-OUT it should be transparent where as I can or any one who use(s) the forms can easily have a copy for my records. Therefore I believe the site for OPTING-IN OR OPTING OUT to be misleading and deceitful.

This letter Is a written response to the notice we received from your office regarding a complaint submitted 8/7/2013 3;45:46 PM with an assigned ID of [redacted].

In accordance with Federal Regulation "P" (Privacy of Consumer Financial Information) we cannot divulge the private information regarding this consumer's account and the circumstances related to her Statement of the Problem,

We have completed our investigation of the customer's concerns and determined that we are not in agreement with her Desired Settlement, Multiple conversations with the customer have been conducted to review her current financial arrangements.

Most recently, an appointment was made with the Director of Member Services to meet Friday, August 16, 2013. Despite our best efforts to accommodate the request for a face to face meeting, the customer did not come to the office as arranged; no further contact has been made.
