Here is the signed contract

Before any contact was signed or any plans had been drawn up, I met with [redacted] at the job siteI had a set of plans for another deck I was currently working on and brought them with meI went over this set of plans with him and let him know I was bidding his deck to be built the same as the one I was working onI let him know that day in person and in an email that prices may vary depending on the out come of the final plans of his deckWell the architect designed the framing much larger than the plans we had discussed from the sample plansIn my bid I had the deck to be built with 4xpiers, dual 2xgurders and 2xjoists, final plans had 6xpiers, 6xgurders and 2xjoistsThe difference in price between what I bid for and final plans was a little over $I did not mark that up in any way nor did I add anything for the extra labor that came along with it, I only gave him a change order for the difference in materials costHe refused the change order and I cannot move forward without it

I was working on. I let him know that day in person and in an email that prices may vary depending on the out come of the final plans of his deck. Well the architect designed the framing much larger than the plans we had discussed from the sample plans. In my bid I had the deck to be built with 4x4 piers, dual 2x10 gurders and 2x10 joists, final plans had 6x6 piers, 6x12 gurders and 2x12 joists. The difference in price between what I bid for and final plans was a little over $3000. I did not mark that up in any way nor did I add anything for the extra labor that came along with it, I only gave him a change order for the difference in materials cost. He refused the change order and I cannot move forward without it.
