I would first like to say I am sorry if Miss [redacted] feels that Party Tyme Five did not hold up our end of the contract. I read over her review and did want to address some things . For instance, The Save The Dates were to be given to me and...
I was to have them completed and sent out by January 4th and I had not yet received the information but I had spoken to her sister-in-law and she was getting the information and I was to work on them. So that was actually on track. We had also spoken about the decisions that she wanted to make for her reception dinner and decorations for the reception and she had not yet decided what she wanted and upon the hour long phone conversation that I had with her sister-in-law I immediately had contacted Allerton with misc. questions that we had discussed and Allerton responded back to all of us wanting to set up a phone conference to get things in order. As far as vendors, I had worked independently contacting and emailing different ones trying to find a lower price for different one's. I gave information on the one's that responded. Although during the time that I had done this Miss [redacted] had sent an email stating that she wanted to take back the responsibility of vendors finding vendors from people that she had gotten referal's from and she sent me a list of the vendor's she had chosen. Since she had sent me that I did not continue searching because I was going to be working with her sister-in-law to finish up trying to find things. As far as the duties of her fiancee, she specifically stated that she would handle this and would let him know what she wanted him to do. When I received the email from her sister-in-law stating that they were terminating the contract due to they felt that I had not met their vision I responded with needing a correct address to send all of her information that I had with the binder of all the things I had worked on and a full list of vendors of various things. Her sister-in-law had attached Miss [redacted]'s email as to why she wanted to terminate the contract so I did not feel that I needed to speak with her sister-in-law since the email stated everything. Many things were not even here at this time to be completed (because they were things to do closer to the wedding weekend) and the things that were I was working on were waiting for confirmation from Miss [redacted] such as names and addresses. As far as the flowers, Miss [redacted] had agreed to us working on them and we had sent photo's of a starter bouquets and per emails she said yes to them. At this time I created a contract and under the signature it was signed "per email F. [redacted]" with the date of her email saying yes. I documented this contract this way and attached the email with the contract for records. She sent the $150 non refundable down payment for this. She asked for us to put more bling and greenery in them and we were working on these to make them more like she wanted them. We were working on making them more like a picture that we had just recently received from her sister-in-law which she had put in charge of everything. Within a week of this and the phone call is when we received the email stating they were terminating the contract due to they felt we were not seeing their vision and that they wanted all their money returned. Regarding stating I had not done any other weddings and was a poor choice, I would like to state that this year alone (2015) I have completed 2 very successful weddings that were large wedding party's and over a 150 quests each, numerous birthday party's, and a couple of graduations, all of which all of my clients were very happy and had no complaints. Since this complaint and another email from Miss [redacted] herself, Party Tyme Five has sent a response and a resolution to the matter of her refund of her money paid. Since she was so unhappy we are offering her a refund of all except the original $150 deposit she paid for her actual wedding planner contract. As I have stated before I am truly sorry that she feels that we dropped the ball and I wish her the best of luck and happy days ahead.
